I replaced my old Logitech security system with newer equipment over the 4th of July holiday last weekend, and knew I needed more than the 10 feet they had for each camera for a few locations. One in particular was going to be a test, farthest run from an outlet. So I got this one for that camera.Worked great. The camera plugged into it without issue, and I've had no problems with power to that unit. Plenty of length for me to run through my gutters to keep it out of sight the way I had the POE network cable going to the Logitech.Great price, does the job, can't ask for more.

This is a good product for typical applications, but did not work in my higher current application because the wire in the cable gauge AWG is too thin and created too much of a voltage drop across the cable to the device. I would guess the wire used in this cable is maybe 20 -22 AWG. I now have bought a replacement more expensive cable that uses 14AWG (much thicker and will prevent voltage sags). My fault, I just went with the pictures, and they didn't list the AWG in the specs. If they did, I would not have bought it. This product probably should work in all typical applications.

I needed to run 12V out to an Illuminator mounted outside my fence to light up the street. This Power Extension Cord was just the right length to do the job. Well worth the price.

Bought this to help install power to my security cameras and makes it easy to install power to 2 cameras without all the bulk of power extension cords and easy to hide the cable. This has been installed for well over a year and is holding up very nicely without any issues - we see all 4 seasons and they look and work as new.

The wire gauge inside the cable insulation is tiny, maybe 22awg? Absolutely insufficient for power delivery. I'm getting significantly poorer and dimmer image quality. Cannot recommend.
