Men's 6-Inch Classic Moc 1907 Copper Rough & Tough

I now own two pairs of Red Wings, my 877's that I've had for 5 years and resoled once, and now this pair of 1907's. I can't say enough great things about them! I have been in construction for over 20 years and owned many pairs of boots, but Red Wing has been far and away the best pair of boots I've ever owned. They do take some time to break-in, but it's more than worth the wait! Now on to just the 1907... They come with two set's of laces, leather and cord, which I think is very nice. Also, they already have nice removable insoles. The finish is an awesome "worn" look, but the leather is still brand new. I bought them because I wanted a pair of Red Wings for my off time, meaning more for fashion rather then for work. I love the fact that I own boots that I could still be wearing 20 years from now, and that they only look and feel better with age. I own a pair of Dickies that I bought when I sent my 877's in to be resoled, I spent $87 bucks on them and I don't think they are worth 30, and the whole time I couldn't wait to get my Red Wings back because of the junk quality of the Dickies. In a day and age when we buy so much junk made in China, it's so nice to own boots made by people who care and take pride in their workmanship rather then some sweatshop crap made in China. I'm proud to work in an industry that builds America, so it's only fitting to wear boots built by Americans.

Amazing craftsmanship from a great American boot maker. If you want “tennis shoe comfort” right out of the box, look elsewhere. But if you want an amazing, heritage built work boot that lasts a lifetime and will just be breaking in when those “tennis shoe work boots” are ready for the dumpster…this is your boot. I sized down 1/2 size from my running shoes for a perfect fit.

I received a used boots with leather scratches all over the boots and the outsole at the bottom of the boots are dirty. This is not a brand new boots.

First off, size down 1/2 size as most people have advised. Secondly, not sure why many people are saying these boots need a long period for break it. I found the boots to be supremely comfy from day 1. The Red Wing construction and attention to detail is top notch. Made in the USA and it shows. The leather is soft at first touch. As a nice feature, the boots come with an extra pair of laces. The leather inserts are a nice touch, but I removed mine in order to fit my Rx orthotics. I can't wait to get some good wear on these. You will not be disappointed with these RW 1907 beauties.

I usually wear a size 10 in leather shoes and was seriously considering the feedback of going half a size down but eventually went ahead with a 10. Looks I should have went half a size down as there were some heel slippage but tightening the laces and wearing thick socks did the trick to remedy that. Other than the fit, everything is amazing, the leather, craftmanship and build quality is as advertised. Very happy and I hope to get more Red Wings in the future.

D'après les commentaires, il faut prendre une demie taille en moins mais en fait en ce qui nous concerne, c'est la taille effective qu'il fallait commander. De magnifiques chaussures qui font le bonheur de mon mari qui en rêvait et qui n'est pas déçu : très grande qualité et ne font pas mal aux pieds. Commandées chez Henmores deux fois avec un retour entre temps mais très bon vendeur, un plus quand le prix est si élevé ! A recommander sans hésiter (chaussures + vendeur) !

Je suis vraiment satisfait des ces boots Red Wing. Attention cependant je les ai prises en 41 pour une pointure habituelle en 42 et elles me vont à la perfection (fiez vous plutôt à la longueur en cm de la chaussure)! Elles paraissent un peu serrées sur les côtés les premiers temps mais le cuir, malgré son épaisseur se détend. Bref, elles respirent la qualité et je jetterais bien mon dévolu sur les Iron Ranger dans peu de temps.
