Will the containers nest? I like to store my lids separately and want the containers to be as compact as possible.

Yes they do. It's exactly what I do with mine. I purchased 12 of them in different two colors. One set for me and one for my boyfriend when we divi up our lunch for the week.

Can they be used in the oven? Description say they are oven safe, but response to a question says no oven.
