Great 70's Superhero show
I've been waiting for this to come out on Blu-ray for some time. I'm glad they finally did it.I was pretty young when this show was first released. I remember it being on and liked it just because she was a superhero. Now that I'm older, I appreciate it for other reasons. For one, Wonder Woman is important not only for being one of the earliest female superheroes (not the very first as some believe), but in that she's completely original and not a feminized version of an established Male hero (unlike Batwoman, Supergirl, Spider-woman, She-Hulk, Captain Marvel, etc.). While she had a junior version of her in Wonder Girl, she never had an opposite sex counterpart. That makes her really stand out among all other female superheroes. This show is also important for what Lynda Carter brought to the role. She really owned the part and nobody could replace her for decades. Not many can pull off her combination of beauty, charm and strength. The show itself is fine. A little dated, but not too hokey or campy (well, maybe a little in later seasons when Wonder Woman switched to those odd costumes like the swim wear and skating outfit). Production was good standard for the time.Blu-ray itself is really good. High quality picture and sound. Almost a little too good as sometimes you can see that Lynda Carter's natural hair clashes a bit with the jet black hair extensions. That can be overlooked. One small complaint with the package: While there is a booklet listing the episodes, they're grouped by season and not by disc. The discs aren't labeled other than by season, so the only way to know which episode is on which disc is to actually play the disc and look up the menu. If you're looking for a specific episode, it may take some trial and error.Aside from that, it's a good package and worth having if you're a fan of Wonder Woman, superheroes, 70's TV or all of the above.

Great Campy Fun!
We need a Wonder Woman about now. It is so silly that no one sees the resemblance between Wonder Woman and Diana Prince. It reminds me of the Superman/Clark Kent thing. Stever Trevor is a good role model for young men, regarding how to behave around women in the work place; he's always a professional gentleman and never treats Diana like a "dumb little girl," as do many of the male characters, with whom Diana or Wonder Woman always keeps her cool and her charm. The stunts, special effects and other cinematic aspects are so transparent that it's impossible to watch this series and ever feel truly scared, which is nice, espeically for children. I never seem to get over Wonder Woman's impractical and overly sexy super hero outfit, but that makes me laugh sometimes. In interviews with Lynda Carter, she enjoyed playing Wonder Woman, and saw the role as an opportunity to show feminine strength and integrity. I try to remember that when things get too dumb or silly. I love whatching this show, and I'm not sure why because I think I should be too sophisticated. It's like eating mac'n'cheese or other comfort food, I guess.

Blu-Rays a HUGE improvement over the DVD's.
The newly released Blu-Ray set of the Wonder Woman television series is a definite improvement over the first DVD releases. The second releases on DVD (the single-sided discs), were absolutely horrible with barely VHS image quality. All of the special features from the DVD's have been ported over for the Blu-Rays. All episodes are in their original aspect ratio and have been newly remastered. Virtually all of the film scratches and other anomalies are gone now and the picture is sharper than before. The episode intros with the theme songs are slightly softer than the actual episode footage, as these segments were most heavily cleaned up, as well as any of the stock footage scenes that were used within the episodes. The audio is on par with the original DVD releases and remains your basic Dolby Digital audio. And, they finally fixed the audio sync problems on season 3, where the sound effect did not match up with the star coming out of the tiara in the opening credits. This release is definitely a solid upgrade to the DVD's and belongs in your Wonder Woman collection !!!!!
