Great protection. without burning eyes!
As others have written, this is the answer if you're looking for excellent protection from the sun and have sensitive eyes! Until I found this stuff, I thought my options were using a mineral sunscreen (zinc or titanium oxides) that really don't work that well (and are hard to apply), or having my eyes burn for hours after applying any other chemical sunscreen. No eye irritation at all with Oh My Bod, even when sweating. And Consumer Reports gives it an excellent rating for sun protection. Oh My Bod is the answer.

skin-like finish with no burn
I usually use Supergoup! Play on my face, and it's great! But, its finish is on the shiny side. I have dry skin and eventhough Supergoop! Play is heavy and "greasy" it is one of the only sunscreens I've found that does not leave my skin dry, especially around the nose. I love it - no dryness, no sting on face, and is fine around eye area but not in it (no lids & undereyes). It burns my eyes if it travels too close or gets in my actual eyes. That being said, I wanted to find a sunscreen that hit the same marks as Supergoop! Play but was less "greasy" feeling. I went looking for sunscreens that did not sting eyes and that had great reviews. I found this one. I was still not sure if this product would fit the bill in addressing hydration for a dehydrated skin girlie like myself. I read from the reviews here that it dried quickly and was not "greasy." Sounds good to most, but it made me hesitant. Since my skin is so dry, I've never been able to find a cream based moisturizer of any kind that dried quickly and did not produce that shine on my face but was not drying... Oh my goodness! This sunscreen is near perfect! OK, so it absolutely does not burn around my eyes at all. I have been applying it on my lids, undereyes, and corners. I've rubbed my eyes with it on multiple times, and... there is no stinging! So, ✔️ on criterion one! Secondly and, for me, just as importantly, it does not accentuate any dry patches on my face. It does, in fact, hydrate & protect my skin from dehydration. ✔️ And the final test, the reason I began searching for a new sunscreen, it... does... not... shine! It feels like I have a moisturizer on my face which is necessary for my dry skin. Without some semblance of a barrier keeping my moisture in the product would be useless for me. But! It is thin. It gives skin-like finish, and goes great over my skincare and under my makeup. I have been foregoing the application of a dedicated primer and substituting this suncreen in its place. If you have tried the NYX Marshmellow primer, the feel of this sunscreen is similar. ✔️ The only downside I have noticed is that while this cream smells good from the bottle and when first applying it, the smell changes as it dries down. It does smell like sunscreen. It's not overwhelming, but it is there.

Easy and comfortable to put on, highly rated for its screening.
I read that this lotion is very highly rated for its sun protection by a well known and highly regarded testing company so I decided to try it. It goes on quickly and easily and has a very light fragrance which quickly dissipates. I haven't had it long enough to decide how well it works but I am confident that it will function at least as well as other lotions in its category. There is very little noticeable residue left on the kin after application.

Pretty good, but oily sheen and weird smell
I tried this product based on Consumer Reports’ 2024 sunscreen ranking because it ranked third. Overall, it protected my face because it didn’t get burned or red after a day out in the sun. However, my ears were red and felt hot because I forgot to put sunscreen on them. It spreads very well with no white cast. However, it’s a bit oily on my skin. I feel ok wearing it when running or running errands, but less oily would be better. There is a weird scent to it, and I can still slightly smell it when it’s on my face. It’s not bad and not good either but manageable.

Terrific sunscreen
I read about this sunscreen on Consumer Reports, which rated it very highly for effectivness. Love it. Goes on smoothly, no white cast, no obvious odor and feels good on my skin. Reasonably priced, too. Highly recommend.

Nice finish, protects as described
This sunscreen lotion works as described. It goes on nicely and stays on while I’m in the ocean. It has a nice feel to it.

Favorite sunscreen
Will keep purchasing. The sunscreen has a nice texture and doesn’t sting the eyes. It goes on smoothly and is not sticky. There is no white cast. I like that it is gentle on my sensitive skin.

Used to be my favorite sunscreen, but can't use any longer
I have tried many different brands of sunscreen lotion, including Coppertone, Neutrogena, Up & Up, Equate, Dermalogica, Eucerin, La Roche-Posay, Supergoop, and others, and this one is my favorite. I use it on my face and other exposed areas such as my neck and ears. The only two things I don't like about it are the price and the fact that it isn't available in a larger size. The price isn't too bad when compared with some of the premium brands that are even more expensive per ounce, some far more, but this one is expensive compared to cheaper sunscreens I've used in the past that were either discontinued or modified and ruined. The things I like about Oh My Bod are that it was highly-rated by Consumer Reports, is easy to apply and absorbs quickly without a lot of rubbing, doesn't cause a high-gloss appearance or a white cast, doesn't sting my eyes, doesn't cause an unpleasant taste, and doesn't have an obnoxious fragrance. I prefer fragrance-free sunscreens, but the fragrance in this one doesn't bother me because it's pleasant, subtle, and dissipates quickly. It does create a bit of a shine on the face, as most sunscreens do, but much less so than some others I've tried, and the shine gradually diminishes. I have not found any other sunscreen that has all these advantages. I won't even bother trying any that haven't been tested by an independent organization such as Consumer Reports because many sunscreens fail to meet the SPF or UVA ratings shown on the labels. The manufacturers claim that their products are tested for efficacy according to established testing standards, but the reliability of those test results has been called into question as a result of independent testing. Update: After my initial review, I began experiencing some significant problems with this sunscreen, and downgraded it from 5 stars to 3. I had never previously had a problem with eye irritation from this product, and it is advertised as not stinging the eyes. However, when I recently applied some to my forehead, which I don't normally do, I had some major eye stinging and watering that lasted for hours despite thoroughly washing and rinsing my face multiple times. I am always careful not to get any sunscreen too close to my eyes. Also, I have begun to feel a burning sensation from this product in some areas of my face, and noticed redness in those areas, even though I did not get any sunburn whatsoever. Apparently there is some ingredient in this product that sometimes causes irritation to my skin. Despite all its benefits mentioned in my original review, I will have to discontinue use of this sunscreen, and use up my remaining supply on areas other than the face.
