Stop Scrolling. You Found Them!!!
Dollar for dollar and pound for pound, you WILL NOT find a better in-ear system than what you're looking at right now. I've used virtually every brand on the market and, for the money, these are miles ahead of the competition. The have a reasonably flat response (where many are bass-boosted thinking that everyone wants to just hear the thump). But not here... these are much more balanced and offer the whole range of sound in your ears to provide a quality, flat response, with good volume control on the belt and interference-free connectivity with the base unit. It's exactly what you're looking for as a musician... you want to hear EVERYTHING. Including the click. And, this is your best route to go. Well made. Well designed and thought out. And sounds great. All at an unbelievable price!!!

Great IEM wireless system
I've been looking for a wireless IEM system for a long time. Most of the less expensive ones are really cheap looking and the ratings are not particularly overwhelming. Looking online I see that the XVive U4 gets high marks not only on Amazon, but from industry leaders as well. I decided to just go with the bit of extra money and get one. It is well made from metal and plastic and has a nice weight to it. I've used it 4 times now and have 2 other band members who have purchased the system based on how happy I am using it. It works great plugging straight into our Soundboard board or plugging it into the Behringer P16 personal mixer. I also use it at church to monitor the sound output of the board we use. I'm very pleased with the ease of use, quick set up, battery life and size of this awesome wireless IEM system.

Clear sound with attenuated hi freq, may cause interference on some mixers
The setup is intuitive, solid link quality, and sounds clear with noticeable attenuated hi frequency. 1) Strong interference when being plugged into Zoom L-8 mixer, with supplied TRS to XLR adapter. The mid frequency humming was evident throughout all input/outputs and R2 receiver, this can render electronic guitars unusable, and very annoying noise for IEM purpose. All close by cables can be interfered, your can check this by moving around cables around U2 transmitter. 2) Marginally acceptable interference when being plugged into Zoom L-8 XLR output (w/o supplied TRS adapter) The mid frequency humming was greatly reduced, no as annoying as thru TRS adapter, acceptable for band practicing IEM However it is unacceptable for recording purpose, the humming was still too prominent. 3) Extend the transmitter via an extension cable (TRS /XLR) away from signal cable and mixer can cure this issue A 30 cm extension wire can cure the issue, deliver clear sound. The interference is somewhat due to the interoperability between a all-plastic shielded Zoom L-8 Mixer. However, this can also be possible when you place the transmitter close to any instrument cable with high output impedance, and/or poorly shielded cables. After some some trials and tweaks this product did shine out its versatility and quality, at a sweet price point.

Excellent on-stage performance
I play keyboards in a band that does mainly classic rock covers. I bought these to use with an XVive U4 in-ear monitor. The first pair I received were defective, which didn't inspire confidence, but I opted to have a replacement pair sent, and I'm glad I did. The sound is very good. They do a great job of blocking out ambient noise -- almost too good, I can't hear anything anyone says to me without taking them out! They came with three different sets of ear inserts in three different colors - black, red, and yellow. I opted to put red on one ear and yellow on the other so I can easily tell them apart. (There is a tiny little "R" and "L" on each earpiece, but good luck being able to make that out quickly in dim lighting.) I've only used them once so far in a live event, but had very good sound from them with no noticeable discomfort during a 4 hour gig. Though I did remove them between sets. It also included a hard shell carrying case, which is nice for transporting them in a bag full of cords and other junk without worrying about damaging them.

I love these units. I have 5 of them. Sturdy built. Easy to swap channels if you encounter and interference. Usually there is one channel with some static but that's to be expected running multiple units with lots of surrounding wifi but it's easier fixed. I run 5 units usually on 3 to 5 different channels. I find signal dropout at lower volumes but its rarely an issue. Belt clip is metal and firm. Battery life is great. I would recommend charging after 3 hours use. The stronger the battery the stronger the signal. Fully recommended for stage and practice. My only complaint is the transmitter is a little wide at the base. This makes it difficult to plug into for mixers or consoles that have aux ports too close together. I have a small 6' wired adapter for transmitters that would fall in the middle of 3 units. Not a deal breaker. Fully recommended. Worth the price.
