I love this thing! Who knew? And I got it for less than $10 - worth every penny plus more.I have had this in my shopping list for months and months. It went on sale so I decided to order it, not expecting much. And really, when you open the package, it doesn't look like much, just some rubber or plastic looking parts and a big long brush. I thought, meh, I'm underwhelmed.But boy does it do the job! I was impressed.The brush, I am not sure about as much - it does loosen things but dust becomes stuck to the bristles and is difficult to clean and it just now occurs to me that I could have vacuumed it! ha!But the vacuum part is awesome. I attached it to the tube of my old upright vacuum that has a lot of power behind it - easy to do. First you attach the two (or three) rubber/plastic parts together, and then push the bigger end onto the vacuum tube - give it a little force if you have too, it'll be fine.I stuck it down the vent trap and up came all this fuzz. Now, I clean out my trap every single load of laundry no matter how small: every.single.time. And still this pulled up so much lint! Dang! I then took it outside and suctioned out the outside vent - lots came out of that too. Take a look inside your vacuum and see what has been hanging out in your dryer vent - lots of lint - and for me, lots of lint from many years of never vacuuming it out. Dang!Note that if the suction isn't as powerful to check to be sure there isn't some lint clogging the rubber/plastic tube-it'll clear out easily. Also note that according to how powerful your vacuum is, that will determine of course the power of the suction, but once it is concentrated in that tube, it creates a big suction. I used a power cord vacuum as those are usually more powerful than the rechargeable ones.The amount of lint that came of of that was eye-opening. I had no idea.I found other uses for it - I vacuumed out my old baseboard heating vents that I usually have to clean with a rag and it was always a pain - this fit in there easily and went to town.I also stuck it under my washer, dryer, refrigerator, and stove and moved it all around to vacuum up whatever may be under there - dust bunnies or when I drop dog food or nuts or something and it rolls under the fridge. The flat part is flat enough and flexible enough to get under there whereas the vacuum attachment was not.This would vacuum tight areas/corners or baseboards or between furniture cushions. Maybe my wood blinds.I am so pleased with this I only wish I'd ordered it sooner!

This tool worked amazingly well. I moved and inherited a used dryer that wasn't drying well. Using the vacuum attachment really helped clean out lint that had built up due to a torn lint screen. It cleaned so well that the decrease in my electric bill was noticible on the very next bill. I'm now using the brush weekly and plan to keep using the vacuum attachment occassionally. Terrific product!

This is a very good tool, and works much better than one I had purchased in the past, which was nothing but a piece of large diameter clear plastic tubing. The tubing is plenty long, and the included brush is very helpful in digging out lint that's packed into the little nooks and crannies way down inside.It's too soon to tell for sure, of course, but all the parts seem to be sufficiently sturdy that it should hold up well, and possibly last longer than your dryer, itself.This tool is very flexible due to the ribbing on the main tube. However, that ribbing also causes heavy clumps of lint to get stuck, necessitating extra effort to clear out those clumps. (It's not really obvious from the photos, but the main tube is actually oval shapped, rather than round, which is what causes those laege xlumps to hang up. If it was round, then it wouldn't tend to clog so easily. But then it wouldn't be quite as flexible. So it's a trade-off.)The ease of use of this tool will depend a lot upon the type of vacuum being used. If you have a full-sized floor vacuum, it should work great. However, if you have a small, rechargeable battery-powered vacuum, as we do, it'll require a bit more effort.For example, those large clumps I spoke of also kept clogging the narrow intake aperture inside my vacuum. It wasn't a disaster, I just had to keep stopping the vacuum to open the canister, remove the internal vortex fitting, and clear out the clog. I had to do that three times before I finished.If you clean your dryer as little as once a year, it should be much easier than the first time. Ours probably hadn't been cleaned out in almost 10 years. I expect the next time to be MUCH less work.

Works really great, fits in my dryer vent and pulls out a lot of lint and dog hair. As someone who has three dogs, this is a must have as the amount of hair and lint is excessive!

I wish it would mention that it doesn't work on lint traps that bend (not the ones at the bottom of the dryer door). Although I did have a feeling since I saw the nose of the hose was hard and I didn't think it would be able to bend with the opening. The brush that comes with it worked perfectly, however. So if you have a dryer like mine, just get the long brush.

No false description for this product. It's compatible and it works to get into those tight spots that your regular attachments won't touch! I am very satisfied with this purchase and the value for my money! Easy to use, is flexible, and comes with a long bottle brush. Happy, happy 😊

Just what I needed, works great. A little loud my ears are ringing but may just need to make sure everything is tight. Came with large brush perfect to get in hard to reach areas!

Had to get a new dryer recently and I use this to stay ahead of the maintenance. Has a universal connection on one end that fits 2 different size hose attachments I have. Goes a good distance down the vent and seems to do a good job cleaning. I will continue to use this and update in the future. I would recommend this product.
