I use Harissa paste in a lot of dishes, and it gets expensive. I decided to try out this McCormick Harissa seasoning instead. I am so glad I did. First of all, the flavor is more intense, and I also have better control over my dishes taste with this seasoning. It is also much easier on my wallet. I would use a jar of Harissa paste at a cost of over $6 for just three recipes. I have already used it for several recipes and it still looks like the bottle is full. This will go a long long way, with much better results. If you like Harissa, and use it often, this is the way to go. I love my recipes that call for Harissa much better now, and my wallet does too. 5 star from me.

I had *no idea* what this would taste like. It's fantastic! Put it on some meat. Hell I've been putting it in my ramen. So damn good!

I love this spice! Tangy, some heat, salty -- it is perfect. I put a normal amount in a good sealing spice bottle and then put a single layer of plastic wrap (glad wrap) over the main container top and screw the top back on. Then I refill the small bottle as needed. This keeps the spice fresh and it does not loose its zing over time. Thank you Amazon for carrying this and to McCormick for making the large size!

This seasoning is great, but I'd have preferred if the ingredients were ground up a bit finer. There are some larger pieces in it that make this unideal to use in some situations, but nothing I can't work around. Great otherwise!

This spice mixture is my new favorite. It goes with anything and this large container is easy to find. The small bottle I bought originally is nearly impossible to find in groceries in this area but the economy size is the same stuff. One of the ingredients is spearmint, which may seem off-putting, but it does not stand out from the melange and adds an exotic cool note to the warmth of the cumin, coriander, and ground red chili peppers.

Harissa is hard to find in our small texas town grocery store. They usually only carry a tiny size and it’s out of stock most of the time. This is a great price for a tasty seasoning that my son can’t seem to get enough of. He’s 24 so he was happy to get it as a Christmas gift this year 🤪

I saw a recipe using this spice and couldn't find it at the local store. While it seems like a large amount, it's very versatile. I've used it for sheetpan dinners, roasted potatoes, and chicken. You can really use it on any meat or seafood for a different flavor. It's not too spicy and very aromatic.

The only way it could be better is if it was even bigger.
