Cycra Powergrip Bar End Set

These are better than original as they hold much better.

Needed them easy install, did put alittle duck tape at ends of nut so won't fall off in the bars.

Bought Pro Taper bars to replace stock bars on a DRZ400s. Bar was 7/8" OD and about 1/2" ID. Came with two sets of expanders and small one worked perfectly for brush guard mounting. Way cheaper than buying all new guards.

These are made to anchor this company's brush guards not mirrors so expect to modify them a bit to mount mirrors. In my case the mirrors I used on a Cafe racer style bike had weak aluminum anchors and small Allen head bolts that held them. The bolts that come with this set are counter sunk to mount the brush guards. I had to get the larger size 8mm Allen head bolts from the hardware store and then drill out the mirrors from 6mm to 8mm to accept the new bolts. These anchors hold very strong and the mirrors have not loosened or moved since installing them. They have been the only thing so far that has held the bar end mirrors in place and I tried everything!

Do you have bar end mirrors? Are they held in by crummy rubber inserts? Do they move around and never get tight enough? Is it nearly worthless to have mirrors because they move around so much you cant use them when you need to? If you answered yes to any or all of these questions, you may be entitled to the free information in this review. 1. They fit. Yes, they actually go fully into the bars with no trouble. 2. They are solid, you can actually tighten them up. 3. No movement, mirrors stay where you put them. 4. No vibration. This will depend on your bike, but too much vibration in the bars and the mirrors will make it hard to see anything. Mine has little to no noticeable vibration. (Ducati Monster). So after 2 sets of mirrors, plus buying a set of replacement rubber inserts, I finally found these. And if you did too, you are now equally as fortunate.

Installed some OEM Suzuki steel bar end weights into a new aluminum renthal bar to knock down on the buzz. Had to use some longer bolts to fit the weights, but the inserts fit the aluminum bars and bite in very tight.

These are direct replacements for the parts that come with the Cycra handguards. They were easy to install and worked beautifully. Absolutely zero issues!
