Owned for 6 months and use it about twice a week for a family of 4. In the past I've had two Italian pasta machines break down over time from stiff ramen dough. This thing laughs at low hydration noodles. I've not yet had a single issue with the machine. In my opinion it's far superior to motorized Atlas and KitchenAid machines. The machine really expedites the process for making dumplings, ravioli, pierogi etc and the sheets are wider than the standard Atlas 150mm pasta machines so there's no fuss with using a ravioli press. The machine claims to get out 4kg (9lbs) an hour but it's much faster than that without straining the motor. You could dry noodles out to save for later, but it's so efficient with speed and volume I end up making everything as needed, aside from freezing several hundred dumplings at a time. If you have a larger extended family this will save you a considerable amount of time and eventually money. Our pasta at home now always comes out better than the selection at local Italian shops for a fraction of the price and much less effort than what it was like using an Atlas.Regarding the thickness dials, there's one per side, but symmetry hasn't been annoying, just make equal turns at the same time with both hands. There's a big range of thicknesses with a generous 5mm minimum going down to very thin, translucent sheets. Installing different cutters is straightforward and cleaning is not much of a hassle. Because it's bigger, I find that makes it easier to clean. I'd recommend using bamboo skewers to knock out any pieces of dough clanking around the rollers. Make sure to never put your fingers too close to the rollers while the machine is plugged in, and then you're perfectly safe. This thing is heavy duty and I expect it to last a long time.

This smells terrible. Ive used it a bunch and it still smells bad. Why? I don't know. It does okay for the basic dough press and noodles cutting. It's definitely a lot faster than by hand/manual machine how I did it before. It came with a dent in the back too. The dent I can get over, the smell makes me want to send it back.

This pasta machine is so easy to use! It is really a quality machine. The customer service is perhaps one of the best I have ever dealt with. Making the sheet pasta for ravioli, dumplings as well as any other item requiring the flat pasta sheet is extremely easy and the quality is second to none. Switching to noodles is as simple as moving a lever! Making the various adjustments is also very easy.I would highly recommend this to anyone truly interested in making home pasta, you can use almost any pasta.Barry T 9/15/2022Update 10/16/2022After using this machine for about a month it has even gotten better. What a joy to use and so easy with various dough recipes. The sheet dough comes out perfect for ravioli, lasagna, dumplings! Being able to adjust the thickness is wonderful, depending on your needs. As as moving a lever and you have pasta! I have used complete whole wheat dough for pasta came out perfect! Very easy to clean and change from one operation to another. So after a month the five star rating still stands, I would give it a 10 if there was one! Will update with more photos shortly!Barry

This is a decent roller for the money.It is noisy and can get fairly hot.However, it works well. Saves us at least half the time of rolling by hand.We have used it now for three months for light commercial use and it is holding up fine.Not super easy to clean but you figure it out.It works well enough we won’t buy a more expensive unit until this one completely fails.It has a small footprint and is not so heavy a small woman can’t move it easily.Overall, if you don’t want to spend $2000 on a bigger roller and you are not going to use it for hours every day, this is worth the money.One tip, add extra flour to all surfaces of your dough and flatten it some. A ball that has wet spots will cause this to gum up.

Absolute time saver if you make a lot of noodles. This is MUCH faster (only 2-3 min per portion!) than any hand crank roller I’ve tried or the Kitchenaid with pasta roller attachment (10-12 min per portion). That a 5x improvement in time saved. I make ramen and need to laminate the sheet multiple times so this is godsend. The sheet is so smooth and clean on the edges (with smaller machines there tend to be crumbs around the edges). It’s absolutely beautiful! Cuts nicely as well. Helpful customer service too. Would love to have a video but Amazon is showing error when I tried to upload.
