50cc Gas Street Legal Scooter TaoTao ATM50-A1 - Pink

This scooter makes me happy. My husband put together. Not enough info in papers on putting together. Go to utube and watch videos. He had to put on steering colom. But all wires has already togetherHe had to put on front wheel. And I was off. Goes around 40ish. I just love it. Bright pink is pretty. Very durable..

I'm never afraid to admit when I'm wrong. My first review on this scooter was not at all positive. Boy, was I wrong!!! The company contacted me and worked insanely hard to make this purchase right. And they sure did! My new scooter isn't pink, it's blue, but it runs great! To and from work today without even a hint of trouble. She's beautiful and an absolute delight to ride. The company went above and beyond in my opinion to make me a satisfied customer. I'm actually more than satisfied, I'm enthusiastic. If you need a cute little scooter to run around town, this is the one you want. Priced right, great on gasoline, easy to ride. (I would recommend that you have it professionally assembled, unless you're a mechanic.) I hit 27 mph going down the main street without pushing the engine at all.My experience with their customer service has been wonderful. Special mention to Leean, who was always so friendly and kind. She actually called me to verify that the new scooter was working correctly and to give me an update on the paperwork they were sending. Another special mention to Nathan Dean, who communicated with me almost daily to resolve the initial problem. They were polite, respectful and eager to make the situation right. To be honest, I could not be more pleased.Let me repeat this: my initial review was very, very wrong. These guys are great, and their customer service is above and beyond.I can promise you that you will LOVE this scooter.

This scooter has been a pain since I received it...I ordered pink, scheduled the delivery, and gave the seller my backup colors, in case pink wasn’t available.Received the burgundy scooter, the box was messed up, but I’m a stubborn optimist, so I put the scooter together anyways. I changed the motor oil and gear oil, adjusted the carburetor and air filter, and put thread-lock on the steering bolt and front wheel bolt. That’s all great.I had the scooter delivered to my sisters place because she has a house, and I have an apartment. You have to message the seller with the VIN number on the scooter so they can send you the title, which took over a week. Now the title is in my sisters name, even though I messaged the seller and asked that it be in my name, because I paid for it. Ok, more fun at the DMV, but ok, not the worst thing ever...The scooter starts up and runs great, but the headlight won’t work, so I ordered replacement bulbs, still won’t work. I took the front apart and found the wires were held together by electrical tape... That might be why the headlight doesn’t work, so I ordered a wire stripper, wire connectors, and dielectric grease to fix this... and that’s what I’m spending my night on.Hopefully that fixes the issue so I can finally take it to the DMV for a VIN inspection to register it, then I can transfer the title from my sisters name to my name whenever the plates come in the mail. I also ordered a backup regulator, just in case that’s why my headlight refuses to turn on.I wish I bought this from a shop so I would have known it was ready to go.-1 star for multiple trips to the DMV. The title is in my sisters name, but she won’t go to the DMV to help get this resolved-1 star for patchwork electrical wiring-1 star for all the time and money I’ve wasted trying to get this scooter to properly functionUPDATE: I removed all the taped wires, found unnecessary places the wire was cut and rejoined by a connector, so I’ll be threading whole wires where I can. I also found one ground wire connected to like 8 other ground wires, I’m not sure if that’s safe. The wires coming from the speed/gas display unit corroded.Still haven’t been able to ride or register the scooter. I work full time, take a 2 and 1/2 hour bus ride home, 5 days a week, so I work on the scooter on weekends.-1 star for being such a pain. Get this scooter if you understand electrical work and rewiring, or if you can afford to pay someone to rewire this mess... Green wire pics uploaded above.

Amazing customer service! Worked with me the entire way. No issues. Great communication. Fast delivery. Got the pink, box has a steel frame to prevent any dings or dents. Easy to put together if you have mechanical knowledge. Would recommend.

It's a nice bike for the price range. It arrived quickly and was not difficult to put together, but it lost a star because it arrived with some minor cosmetic scratches from shipping. I had it put together and running in a day. Just make sure to put some good oil, like 10W-40, and gas in it, and pump up the tires. Then, you can wind it up and watch it go.

I BOUGHT IT TO SCOOT AROUND THE YARD... IT'S A GREAT ADDITION TO MY TRANSPORTATION...I HAVEN'T HAD ANY PROBLEMS... IT STARTS UP THE FIRST TIME... EVERY TIME...I RECOMMEND IT TO ANYONE...

works and runs good, You definitely have to play with the idol timer, and adjust the Air and gas jets in the carburetor tho. Which are really easy to do. I definitely recommend in your emails you send out to everyone who buys it, you send out a little video on how to adjust the Carb jets if its running to lean or rich. Mine fresh out of the box ran way to lean, so I had to adjust the Fuel Jet in the Carb to up the mixture alittle bit cause it was getting to much air and not enough gas. otherwise it was very easy to assemble, the delivery company was very professional, they helped me get it into the garage, and im very pleased. Well worth the investment. Plan on giving it to my step daughter as a 18th birthday present/ her first vehicle.
