Great long lasting bottle

If you're looking for the largest bike water bottle that will fit in a standard bottle cage, the choice is these 950ml Elite bottles or the 1-litre Zefal Magnums. I preferred the look of these in black. The valve is wide and easy to use. On the non-transparent black version there is a narrow window with measurement markings (the markings are only on the bottom half) so you can see how much water is left. The plastic is soft and squeezable which makes it easy to squirt the contents out quickly and to push the bottle into a tight cage. The flip-side is that it's less hard-wearing, which means it can get scuffed or scratched fairly easily. I would only use these for cycling and they've proven ideal for that. The valve is designed to pop-off if the bottle is squashed, so I wouldn't trust them not to leak if stored in a gym bag or similar.

These are a lot better than the Fly bottles, stronger for everyday use. I would just like to mention that several reviews have reported an issue with discolouration this I am afraid is the result of more “planet” friendly plastics it’s a common problem with all bottles today.

Use 2 of these for long bike rides in the summer and they are a life saver. Enable me to carry a large volume of liquid without needing to stop for Ironman triathlon training. Had to adjust my back cage holder lower so the bottle would fit on the frame and be able to get it out when cycling so you migth need a plastic cage holder than you can drill a different hole in to accomodate but well worrth it.

Am using as a general water bottle in my rucksack. Does not leak at all and nice to drink from. Have now purchased more and the kids are taking them to school.

Good bottle. Lightweight but not as easy to drink out of as other options, the valve almost needs to be held open as you drink otherwise it pops back down. Not so easy if you are cycling at speed

I have "Elite" carbon bottle cages on the bike ... so these are a perfect ,match . Wiggle don't seem to do their own branded bottles anymore, otherwise,I would have got them...and they didn't have the Elite ones ...they had Zefal ...hence the purchase.

I've bought multiple of these over the years. The only downside is it's hard to keep the cap completely clear of mould over time, but that's the case for most bottles.
