Educational and fun!
Got this for my child, but my husband seems to be enjoying it more! You can build simple or more complicated structures to cater to different ages and to demonstrate different concepts. Only negative things are that we feel the need to get more magnetic parts (feels like we need to supplement since there's a lot of chutes vs. magnetic tiles) and, as others have mentioned, it's not easy to connect the non-magnetic parts (e.g. magnetic tiles to the chutes) so a young child would not be able to build it up on their own. Of course, they can play with the magnetic tiles on their own - they are so versatile, we used them to build shapes (cubes, pyramids), houses, etc. A nice addition to other types of open-ended toys like blocks! The magnets are strong, though. So young children may accidentally get their skin caught between the tiles. My child had great fun having the balls 'compete' with each other on similar runs! Would love to know if there was any way to replace the batteries in the 3 balls that are able to light up as my other child is too young to play with these now. It's also a great quiet-time toy to let your older child play with if you have to be away with your baby and need the place to be relatively quiet. All in all, a great purchase. No regrets at all!

My kids love this toy!
This toy is so much fun! Although described as "magnetic tiles" it is so much more than just that. It also contains several ball track pipe pieces that can snap into the tiles so you can make a large marble run! Our 8-yr old enjoys designing the track and assembling the pieces, while our 3-yr olds love it when they roll a marble through all the twists and turns. We also like the fact that the marbles are larger than normal, about an inch in diameter. Much safer than the typical small glass marbles in most sets. We also like that the pieces are sturdy and made to last.

Fun but doesn’t last
We’ve had this set over a year now and it’s definitely a fun one, but here are my notes: Pros: The magnets are strong, the slides make fun configurations that the kids enjoy sending marbles bouncy balls small toys etc down. Cons: I have to help my kids assemble the slides as they’re difficult to pop into the holes, the nibs that attach the slides to the holes show wear very quickly and eventually snap making those slide pieces unusable.

This is the one!! Great safety feature!
Best value for your buck! I researched these magnetic sets and one of the features I love about this set is the sturdiness of the material. They even have rivets with on all four corners of every tile which is a huge safety factor. It makes it harder for the magnets to just pop out when dropped. Which is a very big deal when you have little children who want to put everything in their mouths. Children eating magnets is never a good outcome. I also bought a different set to compare and contrast and this is by far the more superior set! I will be buying another set and returning the other ones.

Fun but not too sturdy
It’s fun. However the tiles have the hole in order to connect to other pieces so it makes the tile not as sturdy and if you move it slightly the whole things falls apart. I still like the toy and I will probably buy more but I think I’ll use my other solid tiles as a base and then add this in order to have a stronger foundation. My kids love the light up balls and they get really creative when build with these.
