I wish I had read the reviews before I ordered. I usually do. I am very disappointed with the color. Not pink at all. It is taupe. Another person had posted this too about the color.

Beautiful color and great polish.

It's hard to pick out a nail polish online bc you can't be sure the color is going to be right. Serene Slate is my new go-to color. It's neutral and goes with everything, but it's not boring. I get so many compliments on it, from grandmas, teenagers, and even my 5 year old niece. Essie nail polish is the best, and this color (Serene Slate) is definitely one of my top 3 favorite Essie polishes.

More a flesh color. Nice but not what I expected

Love Essie polish overall and really like ‘On Mute’ as a darker grey shade with the very slight bluish undertone. Although for whatever reason, the consistency of this one is quite a bit thicker than any of my other polishes, so doesn’t as easily apply smoothly. Not a huge deal but, does make it a bit annoying when layers are uneven, if wanting to use a matte top coat that shows imperfections underneath more visibly.

I have loved essie nail polish's for a long time. This was my first time trying the mindful meditation color and I love that it's a greyish white - it looks great on my skin tone too. The polish itself goes on smoothly with the brush provided and I found I was able to get good coverage with just one coat. I'm pretty lazy and don't usually have the patience for multiple coats and sometimes the lighter colors can be sheer but I didn't have the problem with this one. I will continue buying essie in the future for the ease of application and the awesome color selection!

This slate grey colour is just perfect grey colour. Super smooth to apply and don’t have crazy strong smell. Highly recommend this colour. It’s my new favourite now
