What started as a neck remedy, became my daily pal!
I’ve recently jumped back into a million courses, all of which require a *ton* of reading. I found myself struggling with severe neck pains that extended down to my shoulders, rotators cuff, and wrists. It made doing my reading assignments impossible (considering I was highlighting practically every page, so holding it above me as I lay down was not an option to alternate with). My boyfriend surprised me with this (purchasing through my account but with his money), and it has been a God send. It has 4 separate connections of which you can individually set the angle towards your liking. Granted, they kind of move in pairs, meaning, unless your surface is rather uneven, whatever you have one angle as, the parallel one has to match it for an even platform, less it fall over.Naturally it does have its own limitations. But it’s great for the price it is sold at. Certainly a great first of these to have if never have had one before. The clamps at the bottom work well, and will stay as open or as closed (to the backing plate) as you make them. I just wish they were adjustable in length (as some of my books are smaller and bigger, and that can result in an ineffective hold on my pages). The plate of which the book rests against is decent size as well, and only slightly becomes a problem if working with printed 8x11.5 paper. But this isn’t meant to be a desk, so I cant really complain. Though if you do have longer paged books, be sure to check the specs. But otherwise this is a great product. I’ve had it for about 3 weeks now maybe, and I use It *daily*, not once encountering a single issue. Part of me fears for the durability of the product after excessive use (changing the angles of the joints, and adjusting the clamp bars as often as I do); but again- within 3 weeks to a month of daily use, and no problems or hardships, it’s a great product, especially for the price!

Needs improvement.
It needs more flexible page holders. It won't hold a paperback book open on both sides. Page holders should flex to hold thin and thick books and should slide back and forth to accommodate books of different widths.

Good Value
I purchased this stand so I could take tension off my neck while reading. I'm a voracious reader ! For my purpose it could be about 3 to 4 inches taller but I stack books to get it eye level and neck straight. The legs are fine on a level surface but short to be sturdy on each side of me in my chair. I am 76 years old and have small hands so I can't change the position easily on my own, can't hold the button in and pull at same time. All this said, it sounds negative I know; it IS a good unit and for most it would be superbly useful and at a good price.

Pretty bad, I don’t understand the positive reviews
Poorly designed. Awful stench when first opening it. There is no actual lip to hold a book, so turning a page literally requires removing the book from the stand, turning the page and then put it back on the stand. Also, the adjusters for the height feel flimsy. I’ll be returning mine.

well designed
Love this product! Well-designed: both lightweight and sturdy. I use it to support sketch books while drawing.Would like to see a larger version!

Great Device.
Will hold heavy books. Only problem is it slides, so you have to put a counterweight on the back side., or add felt to the legs.

Great design & lightweight
My pre-teen is a bookworm & thus has horrible posture. He received this for Christmas & is obsessed with it. Walks around with it, brings it in the car, etc. It makes me happy because he isn’t hunched over.
