Great fishing net!
It was exactly what I wanted. The fact that it folds up is a plus!

Nice net for the money
Surprisingly it does actually resist hook snagging, not completely but much better than a non treated net. It's pretty solidy made and folds down easily and had held up in multiple conditions. Better than expected for the cost.

Sturdier than it looks
I thought it might be a little flimsy at first but it worked great on the 24 inch mutton snapper that I caught last week

Best net. Love that it folds. Sturdy.
I am thoroughly impressed by this net. It folds up small and it’s sturdy. All the folding components are metal so it’s sturdier than some folding nets I looked at. IT DOES NOT FLOAT. I accidentally dropped it in the water shortly after buying. Yeah I was pretty sad about that… but just know it doesn’t float. I will be buying another because I loved it!

Portable. Good for fish under 9lbs
If you are like me and occasionally go fishing in ponds and streams where the fish are under 9 lbs, this cheap, compact net is pretty convenient. It folds up and fits in my backpack nicely. I chose this one because it has the metal pivot/locking point unlike the more expensive ones with plastic ones. Out of the box, I noticed that the plastic twist and lock on the telescoping pole slid off the pole because it was not glued properly! However, the price of this was pretty low and I had some adhesive to glue it back together, so all is good now. Happy fishing!

Nice quality!
Bought as a Christmas gift! Has not been used but I checked it out before a wrapped and it seems like a great buy!

Metal is very bendy
My last net broke when the plastic folding joint cracked open. I bought this because I saw the folding joint is entirely metal. The folding joint is indeed entirely metal, but it seems it comes at a significant cost. The two main metal rods on either side of the net are extremely easy to bend. I got this net for dragging through roadside ditches for crayfish, and it is not strong enough for that purpose. The metal bends immediately when it hits any vegetation or sediment. Within about two drags through the water, the net was significantly bent backwards.Fortunately, I was able to jump into the ditches, holding the metal rods with each hand, and drag the net through the water, where it worked well. I would not recommend this for any "heavy duty" dipnet work.3 stars because it delivered fast and served me in my time of need in a crayfish ditch. However, I would not recommend this with many other options available. This net will only hold its shape in very light duty situations, where the net only goes through water and doesn't hit objects.
