X1 Aluminum Fishing Pliers Braid Line Cutters Split Ring Pliers Hook Remover Fishing Gear

I really put these pliers to the test, from fresh water to saltwater these pliers worked flawlessly. I had no issues cutting mono or braid, they cut smooth, that to me is very important because I re-tie my lures and baits a lot. The handle is excellent, no slippage and very comfortable to hold. It's light weight but very strong and very well built. They come with a split ring opener, a big plus when changing out treble hooks for J hooks on lures. The crimper is also a big plus in my book, I use a lot of leaders when I fish. Over-all, I really like the slant nose of the plier itself, it made hook removal a whole lot easier. It gives you a better angle and more power for those tough situations. It comes with a lanyard so you can't lose them, another win for me, I lose pliers as much as I lose my mind when I lose a fish. Simply put, these pliers are a big win! I love them!

This is a nice pair of what appear to be heavier duty than general purpose pliers. I bought these on a suggestion from a friend to add to my on-board tool kit. They are replacing a pair of steel needle nose pliers that have rusted. These should not rust, given the frame is aluminum and the working end is stainless steel, and I expect will last a long time. The side cutter is a nice addition for cutting fishing lines but would not last long if you used it to cut any electrical wiring on your boat. Both the side cutter and working end of the pliers are held to the frame using specialized screws. I don't know if they are replaceable. My pliers did not come with a pouch or lanyard, and there was no mention of either in the listing when I ordered them. Overall, a nice pair of pliers to have in the tool kit.

Not bad. Lightweight and sturdy. Cuts braid. Opens split rings. Need to keep oiled.

I just spent a week at the Outer Banks using these pliers and they work great and the best pliers I have ever used. The sheath has a belt loop but my only change would be a belt clip so I can clip them to the waist band of my shorts since I didn't have a belt. But that is my only complaint. The pliers get 5 stars allday. And the free bonus cuters are amazing also.

i liked it, love the lanyard that will keep pliers from falling off on the rocks at the jetties or on the water. I also really liked the small pliers that come with it, I was thinking on giving it to my grandson for his tackle box, but i think i will keep it as well.

Not worth the money I’ve used for about 4 trips out fishing and they already don’t close together straight. Save your money!!

Works fine so far. A good value, albeit I brought it aboard a cruise ship for "port of call" fishing and it turns out pliers are not allowed. Live and learn. The holster could be of better quality, yet these are value priced tools.

These things are awesome! Line cutter cuts through both braid and mono with ease, made from aluminum but the build quality is great for the price and they feel solid. Seen people say they have stains but mine did not have that problem. Solid buy and will be buying another pair as back ups.
