Have tried numerous other brands for sanding sheets in my shop and Norton's stands out as lasting the longest and is able to be folded for contours without breaking apart

Open grit, clears easily, lasts longer than any paper I’ve ever used. I’ve been using sandpaper since the early’70s.

Like the title says, “Super fast!”Takes old stain off in a fraction of the time other brands took.And loses its grittiness equally fast.Win some; lose some?I suppose the time saved outweighs the amount of sandpaper needed. Stripping stain off a 19”x8.5” drawer-front and getting it sanded down in prep for a new finish took me 6-8 hours before. With this sandpaper, I was able to do 3 drawers and still had time to clear-coat two other pieces I had stained the day before. Though I had to use at least double the amount of sandpaper.Only other issue is the backing. It's SO slippery. Combine that with the cheap palm sander backing plate pads I bought (to save money 😂), and well, it's been a mess. Have to rough up the backs of the sheets before putting them on the sander or they shift and slide around like crazy. Even then, that only helps, it doesn't solve the problem. (My other brands don’t shift around nearly as much on the cheap pads.) Oh, and these are just ever so slightly smaller than my other brands of sandpaper, so the 1/4 sheets come undone a bit easier. The tiny fraction of an inch makes a surprisingly big difference.

We expect excellence from Norton and this product delivers. This is my favorite 120 grit choice for dry lapping a hand plane. The Amazon price is very reasonable and the speed of delivery is impressive.

A little more expensive than others, but THE BEST.Papers are proper thickness for the grain size.Excellent no-load feature.
