Light weight and looks flimsy. Used 2 times so far and if handle with care, it will last many years.

I purchased the 12.7” and it’s perfect for our needs. It’s a really big double steamer. I can put a whole chicken to steam or cut it up and place the pieces on the steamer tray with room to steam properly. I’ve used it to make a lot of steamed potatoes and vegetables and it’s great! The steamer tray is inset deep enough that I rarely use the 2 tier steamer. I can fill the water level up to 3” in a big area and then put the steamer tray on top and have plenty of water to steam. The lid is domed high enough that it provides the height I need for food items or a round casserole dish. It has 3 little vent holes to release some steam but not too big that it will lose the heat. It’s sturdy but a little heavier than an aluminum pot. I’ve stopped buying aluminum pot and pans because I didn’t want to consume any more aluminum and found this stainless steel. I’ve had this for over a year and use it almost twice a week. Easy to clean but you will need some space to store it. It’s a great value for the money.

Since we switched to an induction range, we've had a hard time finding a decent steamer. This one is perfect for our needs. It's large enough for our needs and has multiple steaming levels. Very pleased with our purchase!

Works great, nice and good quality.

Reheating your food with steam means it's not rubbery like from a microwave, or dry like from the oven. This stainless steel, 3-layer, steamer is fantastic for large or small items, or several different kinds at once. It's big, we can steam an entire meal for two at one time. We live far from Costco so when we go we get several of their roasted chickens and freeze them. Put the entire, frozen, chicken on a plate (to catch the drippings) and steam it back to edible. It's just as tasty and juicy as when we bought it! It cleans up easily too.

Easy to clean, simple to use, and not worry about the bamboo type that can easily mold.

The steamer looks great and feels sturdy with its stainless steel construction. It holds a lot of food and works well for steaming dumplings and buns. The three-tier design is a nice feature for cooking multiple items at once.However, there are a few drawbacks. The handles get extremely hot during use, so you have to be very careful or use mitts. Also, the fit between the tiers isn’t as tight as expected—steam sometimes escapes from the sides. Lastly, cleaning can be a bit tedious because water spots form easily if not dried immediately.It’s an okay steamer overall, especially for the price, but there’s definitely room for improvement in design and usability.
