This self-sealing tape worked perfectly to seal moisture out of exterior wire splices. I purchased a new tractor that had several exterior wire connections and splices that were enclosed in a rubber boots or plastic capsules. they had no gel or sealant to stop them from corroding. I used this tape to seal all of the connections. That was a little over two years ago. The tractor has been out in the rain, covered in mud, and pressure washed numerous times. I've had no wiring problems. My previous tractor (Green) had constant corrosion and wiring problems every time it got wet. To be fair, I believe I would eventually have the same type of problems with my new tractor if I had not taken the time to seal the connections. Finally, I also used this tape on wiring on my excavator. The wires that run through the ROPS to power the lights had rubbed through the insulation and shorted out. I wrapped all the rub points, the new wire, with this tape. So far no problems.

This is great for coaxial Connections that are outdoors or otherwise in danger of moisture... Works great on all types of Antenna Connections. I highly recommend. This product will dramatically increase the life of not only your connections, but the coax cable as well. Regardless of the Cost, this can be the life of the coax and antenna connection. Seems to be of good quality. I have used this in Avionics (Aircraft Electronics) for decades and now it is available to the public... All Hams should have it as well as anyone with outdoor TV Antennas. This is the best value for money for the longevity of your coax that is out doors or otherwise in danger of moisture damage. It is very stretchable. You pretty much have to cut it off, because once it is there, it is pretty much sealed. Do not expect to remove and reapply! In regards to removal, you pretty much have to cut it off. This is great stuff for outdoor connections or where there is the possibility of being exposed to electrical (Hot Tubs, Sauna, Jetted Tub (one the wiring)).

This is very useful tape. There is no glue but the tape sticks to itself so well its incredibly hard to separate. The tape stretches well too. This means you can create an incredibly tight coating around electrical connections that are impervious to moisture. Much better and more permanent seals than you can get from any electrical tape and the result looks professional and well done. I don't think this can be overstated because I have many times had the occasion to remove electrical tape from connections because the glue dries out and the tape comes loose.

This tape is excellent for wrapping around and sticking to itself. It's perfect for sealing leaks in hoses and pipes but will not adhere to a flat surface. It does exactly what it says it will do and does it well, but I expected to be able to apply it to some flat areas.

I had a 2" drain pipe break in the wall behind some cabinets. This is definitely something I have to fix, but pulling the cabinets out would have rendered my kitchen inop. I just needed to stop the leak to buy time to buy the replacement cabinets etc. The pipe was completely broken, in half, not just cracked, thus the leak was substantial. It was very difficult to get to as I had to crawl into the cabinets to reach it. I considered flex seal however it sticks to everything, and really isn't forgiving getting it into place. This tape isn't sticky, but it does stick to itself, and does so quit well. So it was easier to get around the pipe in order to start the wrapping process. In the end it adhered to the pipe and has stopped the leak.

Works as well as 3M tape which I have used at work for over 20 years. Easy to handle and seals great.
