The Twilight Zone: The Complete Series

Very pleased with my collection of twilight zones. It was just what I thought it would be.

Five seasons of classic speculative fiction tales to make you think, consider, contemplate, and, occasionally, hide under the covers with the lights on. Always introduced by Rod Serling's powerful voice to put you in the mood for whatever you're going to see, this show truly set the stage for the anthology shows to come, many of which were highly influenced by TWILIGHT ZONE. If you like dark, mysterious, fantastical, speculative fiction, I simply can't suggest this enough.

Arrived earlier than expected. Item is sealed and in great condition. So grateful.

Rod Serling is the god father of strange and eerie. So far the quality holds up and right now I am on season 2, disc 2 and it just brings back memories. I am not even sure if Hulu had all the episodes but now I know I got them and me and the misses enjoy watching episodes. There is a debate about physical copies Vs Streaming. Both have merits but I am also a child of the 80s and growing up watching my Dad build his movie collection from VHS to DVD, I follow in those foot steps. Streaming can always go down and even though DVDs are not immune to the ravages of time - nothing lasts forever - you can still play them so long as a player works.Personally I love the look of it on my shelf.

Great box set overall! You get all the original Twilight Zone episodes in a single set, everything plays perfectly!Others have complained about this and I must as well a bit. The box set is setup so that each disc is layered under each other. So to get to later episodes you have to pull out multiple discs. The plastic nubs do a poor job holding the discs in as well. Someone showed off a decent solution which is to just buy a cheap flip-able DVD case for the discs. But me personally, I still like having them in the original casing. Even if it is a headache..

I enjoyed The Twilight Zone as a kid, and still do!

All time classic well worth owning if you like the original Twilight Zone.
