Absolutely delicious. It took some cooking to get the noodles done once completed excellent

I'm used to eating Military MREs and bad ex-wife food. While I wouldn't regard this as restaurant quality food, for something that's portable and has an extended shelf life with easy prep it's actually pretty good. The biggest challenge with "emergency food" is how easy is it to prepare and do you actually want to eat it when it's ready? This was easy to make and although we preferred some of the selections to others, everyone agreed they would be willing to eat it again. A couple of these could be made as a "side dish" for a meal and most people wouldn't notice a difference between it and "regular" grocery store food.

I am an Avid prepper and outdoorsman.I go fishing alot and always take Mountain House with me. I have a pretty good supply of different long term foods for my family in case things go south..I have ordered 8 boxes of this wise foods and got curious today as what it was like compared to Mountain House so I decided to try the Stroganoff.I prepared it as directed, the consistancy was good and it made a lot. As far as taste it was like flour mixed in water. Even with alot of seasoning it didnt taste very good.Why 4 stars then? It is what it is, meant to keep you alive in a disaster. I will buy more just because its a good deal and if things go south i would rather feed my family that than starve like my Neighbors who think that if something happened the Government will be there to take care of you!

Arrived quickly, packaged well.

I've had the chicken teriyaki rice, lasagna, and stroganoff. So far every single one smells like dried puke when rehydrated and heated. Taste is alright, but needed some aromatics like Italian seasoning, sesame, bbq, and hot sauce to make the meal more palatable. It's fine as easy meal or for emergencies since the packets of food are still "good" 5yrs later. One 4 serving pack can feed you the entire day or two days if you divide it in half for one meal a day with additional protein.

Turned out great. No complaints here. The seller was fast and direct. Easy to order through. Shipping was speedy and the items were not oldor stale or anything. As for the food. Man went over great I had a couple in my pack on a camping strip and busted them out for midnight munchies. All my friends thought I was a god for "cooking" real food from water and fire. Truely it was wisdom from the wise foods. I shall be ordering more the favorite pack was a good starter sampler. This was not my first rodeo. I've had many "more" and survival foods and nu!erouse from other brands and so far none impressed like this did as for taste.. We shall see

I'm really grateful for these vegetarian options, and the nice convenient box. We got two boxes to supplement other food storage. I did try one packet (Vegetable Rotini) while hiking with my spouse. One package (4 servings) is good for one meal for 2 people, if you have an additional side (we had a bunch of crackers). It's not a dinner for 4 by any means, but I didn't expect it to be. We enjoyed it though, easy to make and tasted good. Basically expect this box to be 8 meals, or 16 side dishes. When I purchased the price was about $18. That was a good reasonable deal. It appears the price has gone up dramatically, and it's NOT worth $30 like they're charging now.

Love to have this for my go bags the only reason I left one star off is I believed it to be smaller bags maybe I read wrong I didn't expect it to be 3 big bags of 6 servings. The packaging is wonderful no tears the box was nice and sturdy. Will buy again
