Would this work for getting dried wax off of a car without damaging the paint?

I wonder how this would work on wood without damaging a Urethane finish?

I have used this product on anything that I prep for painting. Works great on polyurethane and lacquer. It is a excellent bug and tar remover.

How does this compare to super clean, purple power or simple green for cleaning a car's underbody?

Hard to compare because it's meant to be part of multi-step paint decontamination regimen, to prepare the vehicle surface to polish. First, I de-grease paint with Purple Power APC, then I strip wash with Purple Power Boat RV Wash, then I apply an iron remover. Next, I clay, then spray Rust-Oleum and let it dwell for 3-5 minutes, rinse, dry and finally, polish.
