I love mine! I use it to store nic nacs and it looks and works great! If this seller has one of a larger size I will buy it too because it is not only useful it adds to my decor. It is as described and not flimsy at all. I recommend it.

This arrived in a box perfectly sized to contain without shifting. It is so ACTUALLY HANDMADE that there was still a few small wood shavings from the carving on top and smelled faintly of wood stain. The hinges for lid work smoothly and it opens and closes well. Perfect size for tarot deck or trinkets. Lightweight too. Just what Id hoped and for a great price. Very impressed!

I needed a replacement. The box I was using was from my grandma and while this won't replace the box she gave gave it's close enough. This is my box for my wallet and keys when I come home. I love it. I still to this day use it every single day. This box grounds me as a person, as silly as that sounds.

PERFECT for chime candle storage! I bought the Govinda 40-count chime candles and they fit perfectly! I trimmed the trays those candles come in and they fit just like the box was made for them - two layers on bottom, extras on top with space between for the top part of the mini candle holder to fit and allow the box to close. I LOVE IT. If I took them out of the trays they came in, I'd have been able to fit 80 in there I bet. They're also great for large-format tarot, like the Giant RWS and the large format Baba Studios decks (like my favorite deck of the 100+ I have, their Victorian Romantic, which comes with their own much nicer box and case, but it's still kinda' neat that they fit in this box). The only reason it doesn't get 5 stars is because the lid is a little offset from the bottom. It still closes just fine, but sometimes I have to "help" it a bit. I think if I bend one of the hinges on the back I can get it to line up perfectly. I ordered 2 of these boxes. One for my husband and one for me. We are older and have some meds and things that tend to junk up our end tables in the living room. I thought maybe we could hide our stuff in these boxes and things would look neater. We are both using them faithfully and it does make a kind of stylish difference. The boxes are exactly as pictured and maybe a little nicer. They hold enough for us to hide our medications and a bit more. They open and close with ease. If these boxes are attractive to you and you want or need something of this nature, I think you'll be pleased with you purchase. We are.

Exactly what I was looking for. Just the right size. Sometimes when I buy something like this the size is smaller than the description says. This was exactly the size. It's beautiful and great for the jewelry I bought it for.

The quality is really strong and carved very artistic. The latch and hinges are also quality on mine as well. I am very pleased with it.

It's not the same stain, the engraving is no where near as detailed and where did the latch come from also cover in nics and scratches. I understand why they don't put real photos up of it because it isnt that great but it's definately false advertising and not the same box and a waste of money if you expect the one advertised.
