Has any one put a homemade sauce in them and then followed traditional canning process for sealing them?

I make hot sauce from scratch I heat the bottles in boiling water to sterilize them the caps and drip cap I heat in a mug of the same water for only a couple of seconds. I use a heat gun to shrink wrap the cap cover. This is the best way to do it.

I want to fill these with wine for party favors, how long will they last when I heat seal them?

You can’t use them for wine. Wine will only last a day or 2 after it’s uncorked. You can use them for spirits.

Do they come with defusers? I see 2 in the pictures but it doesn't state them in the description.
