Melinda's Green Sauce Spicy Tomato Jalapeno 355ml

My favorite ‘everyday’ hot sauce. Not for fans of cilantro but mild to put on all sorts of food adding lots of flavor.

Delicious

Used this sauce for years on partially anything that deserves a kick, yes even breakfast! It's fantastic, couldn't speak more highly of it! Just thrilled amazon sells it!

The taste was a complete letdown. It’s overwhelmingly sour, almost like it’s gone off—even though it’s not. I was expecting a fresh, spicy kick, but all I got was a sharp, vinegary tang that overpowered everything. Couldn’t taste the jalapeños or tomatillos at all. Tried it on tacos and eggs, and it ruined both. Really disappointed—won’t be buying this again.

The seal on the bottle arrived open and tampered with. Returning and refunding the item proved impossible. A disappointing purchase leaving me out of pocket.

This sauce is an absolute banger. The flavor is incredibly fresh, and you can actually taste the ingredients: tomatillos, green jalapeños (not red ones, clearly), a hint of spinach, cilantro, and garlic. It’s got depth without being vinegar-heavy, which is rare for a green sauce. Heat-wise? Super mild. It sits below a median jalapeño, so if you're looking for something fiery, this isn’t it. But if you want flavor-packed goodness with a little warmth, this hits the spot. I put this on everything. Meat, Mexican dishes, eggs... hell, I’ve even eaten it straight from a spoon. Yup. If you like green sauces "à la mexicaine", that taste fresh and actually highlight the ingredients rather than drown them in acidity, this is 100% worth grabbing. Yummy.

Not great, I was hoping to find a decent green sauce comparable to Trader Joe's Dragon sauce (which is impossible to get your hands on in Germany), but Melinda's does not deliver with this one: taste is very vinegary, way too strong on the spinach and garlic powder, close to no heat. Add the absurd price (ca. 20€), that won't get you a recommendation... Shame, because I like many of their other sauces: Red Habanero, mango hab., Ghost Pepper wing sauce, Bhut Jolokia.

Tastes great but not the best of the melindas lineup.
