Maybelline New York Dream Velvet Soft-Matte Hydrating Foundation, Classic Ivory, 1 fl. oz.

I am so happy I tried this makeup. I had been wearing a different brand for years as I am allergic to sunscreen and have to be careful. I haven't used Maybelline before, but the reviews were so good, I decided to try it. It goes on wonderful. I was lucky and picked the perfect shade for me. A little goes a long way and the coverage is wonderful, not matted. I clean my face at night and use Bio Oil on my face, neck and arms. My face is even toned for 69, but I love make up, eyeshadow, etc. This makeup is lite and doesn't feel like I have any on! I don't need powder. Use a little blush, lipstick and ready to go. Does not rub off on clothes! This is a big plus!! I hate when makeup gets on clothes, not anymore! Try this, you will not be sorry.

I love this foundation! I typically use really expensive foundations because I fell into the trap thinking the more I pay the better it will be, but I tried this on a whim because my daughter suggested it. I am in shock! It melts into my skin and matches my color perfectly, which is something I have not found in the expensive brands, even when I go in to get matched at the stores. I'm just about to turn 40 and this does not make me look older or settle into the fine lines I get when I smile. I have very oily skin and this still stays put and doesn't start sliding around halfway through the day. My boyfriend even comments on it when I wear it. Unless you don't get a mismatch on the color, you will not be disappointed in this. It's so light!

Color match was perfect especially for darker skin tones.

Like I needed ANOTHER foundation!. But I read good things about this Maybelline Dream Velvet one and I decided to give it a try, I have medium skin that is on the lightest end of the medium spectrum and have been having a hard time finding a shade to match. I took a chance on this Natural Beige shade and it is perfect for my skin. The foundation is a bit spongy and like a mousse and reminds me of the foundation they used to have in a jar which was bouncy. I didn't like that but I do like this formula. It is lightweight and evenly covers imperfections without looking caked on. I am in my 50's and have pretty good good skin but I do have some slightly darker areas and slightly lighter areas that I like to even out and this foundation does that. It leaves my skin feeling hydrated but it is not dewy or shiny. I barely can tell I have it on but my skin looks better and other cosmetics adhere well and stay put. I have loads of foundations from the highest end to the lowest and will always switch around but I definitely am pleased with the performance and the shade of this foundation. It doesn't settle into find lines and really looks barely there - yet it evens skin tone and leaves my skin looking fresh. It's definitely worth a try if you're looking for medium coverage without the cakey, heavy feel and look.

Seriously my favorite foundation! I've never been one to buy expensive makeup brands. It's just not in my budget, so I've become kind of a pro at finding amazing drugstore products that are just as good, if not better than some of the ridiculously overpriced brands out there. I tried so many foundations in hopes that they would work well with my skin & was never truly satisfied with a foundation until I found this one. Not only do I love the velvety feeling of this foundation, but the coverage is amazing & lasts all day for me. It almost even makes my skin look airbrushed. You honestly can't beat it for the price. I recommend it to everybody.

I have very dry skin and have been drying new foundation to see which works on me almost yearly. This soft-matte foundation has been perfect on my skin in the past two weeks, even under 100+ degrees in California! It has a smooth texture, like a cream squeezed out from the bottle, and more like a mousse. Easy to apply evenly with fingertips, without any puff or brush. It can cover the majority of the dark spots on my skin and is long-lasting (not sure if because I applied the Nars setting powder afterward). This foundation is way over my expeditions, worth the money! I will definitely purchase it again!

After hours of research, I found the products in the last photo. I wanted to find clean, environmental, and safe makeup that didn’t break the bank. In the past I’d go to makeup stores and end up spending $200+ bc I know very little about makeup and I end up going with what the consultant suggested. Since I’m currently not working and am interviewing for jobs (and of course, I ran out of makeup), I couldn’t afford to be oblivious about makeup. I’m so glad I found these products! I used all of the products in the photo, but I wouldn’t say that it would be my daily wear. In regards to the foundation, I liked that it wasn’t too heavy but also evened out my skin tone. It went over my concealer perfectly and blended well. Using a makeup brush I was able to blend it into my jawline seamlessly. I’m very happy with this clean, safe, and affordable foundation! I strongly recommend this product!

I use estee lauder double wear foundation and it's very expensive, like most high end make-up. I was looking for something to wear on a daily basis so I could keep the E.L for special occasions. I have spent lots of money trying to find something with some staying power. I bought the maybelline thinking it's probably just going to be like most drug store makeup in Australia. I must say I've found my perfect daily foundation in this, I'm so happy and the colour is great. When I first used it I thought uhh oh it's too dark, but like magic it seemed to blend out perfectly. I'm 60 with fair skin and blue eyes and a little redness ( typical English complexion ) I would highly recommend this product, I'm going to recommend it to everyone I know.

Lasts pretty longer than you'd expect and isn't messy but it's not completely matte
