I have read a lot of reviews on these towels and I completely disagree with those that complain about them. They are wonderful. The color is vibrant, and it lasts wash after wash. I bought them some time ago and waited to see how they would hold up and they have been great. They are not skinny skimpy towels but rather full and lush. I have not had any problem with shedding as at least one reviewer claimed. Perhaps they didn't wash them before using? I would heartily recommend them and I will purchase them again.

These are the softest damn towels and I love it! They are very absorbent as well and have a rich color that so far has not faded. The only downside is that everything my body touches after a shower had little red pills and fibers all over them. My hairbrush has a nice layer of a deep red dust bunnies. And don't even get me started on what my deodorant has collected. But that being said, I certainly don't regret buying them at all, and I'm very happy with them. They are so nice and warm after a shower and they go very nicely with the color scheme in my bathroom.

The towel set is not overly thick nor the most plush I have ever owned, but it is a decent towel set for the money. The cranberry color is nice and rich in depth (not faded even after washing). If looking for a matching tub mat, the color is a close match to the Cotton & Calm Exquisitely Plush Bath Mats Set - Cranberry. It is soft and medium weight. After washing, there's very little lint; not that much compared to other towel sets I've purchased in the past.

Would I but these again? Yes, as a starter set. No, as an adult looking for quality AND comfort. Everyone wants to get a good deal, so here's the real question to ask, "Is the one-time $50 savings worth 2 to 5 years of rough wipes?" Only you can decide. In my opinion, these are a decent value for the price. I was surprised to learn that towels should be replaced every 2 to 5 years. My last set lasted 12 years. They weren't broken, shredded, and didn't have any holes. I still got dry. Every time. So why did my towels need to be replaced? The only reason is softness...and because my wife said so. SOFTNESS - This gets 3 out of 5 stars: while 100% cotton, only 30% is Egyptian cotton, so when I compare to my wife's Nordstrom's 100% Egyptian cotton, I felt a HUGE difference...as well as a higher (one-time) price. ABSORBENCY - In general, men wipe at water and women tend to pat themselves dry - either way, my new red (cranberry) towels do soak up water at an acceptable rate. It gets the job done with no frills - hey, you're drying body parts, right? DURABILITY - I've used these towels for 4 months before I writing this review and my experience has been 96% good. No excessive pilling, but have seen some red fibers throughout my white bathroom, so it's very noticeable. Does the towel function properly? Yes, in my experience it has performed well. Is it larger than the standard size? Yes, but in reality you don't truly use the extra material. Is it beautiful, long-lasting, soft, easy to clean, doesn't shed (pill), look good, etc.? Yes, mostly. For $22 you are getting two bath towels, two hand towels and two face cloths. Let's face it...for that price you aren't going to get super-high quality. That being said though, I am quite impressed with what $22 will get you with these towels. After renovating one bathroom I bought two sets of the navy blue towels figuring that they would not be used very often so why not give them a shot for that price? While renovating the second bathroom I used the new towels and LOVED the size and absorbency of the bath towels so much (more like a bath sheet size) that I ended up buying two sets of the cranberry for the second bathroom. I was a bit disappointed that the cranberry bath towels were a little smaller than the navy blue ones, but still larger than average. I have seen complaints that the hand towels and face clothes are a bit larger from some other reviewers but I didn't really find that to be the case with my set, so apparently the sizing depends on the lot you end up purchasing. The colors are rich and have held up well after several washings. The navy is a true navy blue and the cranberry leans a bit toward the burgundy side with a hint of red which is fine with me since I really wanted burgundy anyway. I have only seen one or two very tiny pulls out of the entire four sets. I cannot attest to whether or not the colors ran upon the first (or subsequent) washings since I always wash them separately from other items. There was quite a bit of "fuzz" in the lint trap after the first couple of washings but I think that is pretty typical of any new towels. Will these towels hold up after five years? Probably not. But find me anything you paid $22 bucks for that you actually got five years out of. In five years I'll probably be redoing the bathrooms again anyway and will want a different color. I give this product five stars, based on quality for the price.

These towels are very nice. They have a nice feel to them. We have not used them yet, but we are not picky about certain details so we believe that they will dry our bodies better than the old towels we have. We know that there are imperfections in everything, but with these we have found none. After we washed the towels the first time, they fluffed up to have an even better feel. I purchased these towels one, because the price was right and two, because the price was right. I was not sure my wife was going to like them, but she was very happy. We will buy more.

Tenía miedo de que fueran de esas toallas de supermercado delgadas y raposas pero quedé impresionada, por el precio son una excelente compra, son suaves, absorbentes y el color es hermoso y vibrante, el único detalle es que sueltan un poco de pelusita roja en la piel, es apenas visible pero como estoy siguiendo una rutina de skincare pude notar las al limpiarme el rostro. Fuera de eso son perfectas y el precio es de otro mundo para la calidad que tienen, 100% recomendables.

Con las reseñas me di cuenta que era necesario lavarlas. Después de una lavada (SIN SUAVISANTE!! -muy importante para mantener buena absorbcion después) de dos horas donde soltó algo de colorante y mucha pelusa tienen una textura suave, muy absorbentes pero por dos semanas seguían dejando mucha pelusa. Después de dos semanas de uso diario casi no dejan pelusa. Pero valen mucho la pena por el precio. Tengo una en la cocina, una en el baño, uno para la cara y dos grandes para después del baño.

These Are Absolutely Gorgeous Sets of Towels But for a Egyptian Cotton Blend, I Was Expecting them to Be Snuggly Soft, However, Even After Washing them with Baby Soft and Extra Downy (2 Capfuls), they Still Aren’t Cuddly Soft Like My Regular Cotton Towels Are. I Find This Quite Bizarre. I Am Not Saying that they Are Rough and Scratchy, they Just Aren’t As Soft As I Believe they Should Be! They Are Quite Beautiful as “Show Towels” and I Think that they WILL perhaps Soften More With Washing (and Using Quite a Bit of Fabric Softener).
