This is one part of an all weather fire starting mix. When mixed with other chemicals it burns really hot. No matches required.

Does exactly what it's supposed to do.

If you looking for a potassium permanganate that’s a good choice

First time for me to try this. Used it ( mixed with water) to dye stag (antler) on my knife scales.... Gives a nice amber color!

Whitens whites when used with peroxide.

El producto en sí viene bien presentado, trae buena cantidad y se disuelve rápido y parece de buena calidad. Sin embargo, lo compré específicamente para usarlo con peróxido y blanquear ropa blanca, y en ese uso no vi mucha diferencia. En prendas de algodón incluso dejó un ligero tono amarillento. Creo que puede servir para otras aplicaciones, pero para blanquear ropa no hizo gran cosa. Buen producto, pero no lo recomiendo si tu objetivo principal es blanquear ropa blanca.

I paired this with some "HiMedia GRM081-1L Glycerol, Purified, 1 L" to create an exothermic reaction in order to ignite some magnesium, that would go on to ignite some thermite. My grandson is 16 so we do the really fun chemistry stuff now and he was shocked and amazed that a purple powder mixed with sugar can light itself on fire.
