This Doorbell RDWL915W is 100% compatible with Google Nest Doorbell Wires 2nd Gen
I have installed 2 Google Nest Doorbells for the Front and Back Door. This doorbell produces distinct sounds for the front and back door buttons, helping you easily identify which door requires your attention. And I am not using any batteries in my Doorbell at all, everything is fully running on the transformer. I have a load of 2 Google Nest Doorbells and this chime on the transformer, so I have to update the transformer to 16V 30VA, the Google Nest Doorbell each according to its manual requires 10VA alone. So 20VA alone for the doorbells and some load from chime. I think 30VA is still low power, I might upgrade to a 16.5V 40VA transformer, they are definitely available. It seems that this bell is exactly same as model DW915XX, the instructions manual of model DW915XX is far more better, I have used the instructions manual of DW915XX to wire this chime. You will need to wire according to the wiring of 2 Illuminated switches I have attached the picture of the corresponding page from the manual. The bell supports 2 Illuminated switches for both front and back doors with distinct sounds for front and back. And there is no battery of any kind involved in this setup, the bell/chime and 2 Google Nest Doorbells are all running from the transformer.

Easy to use and works well
Works well however I do think that the doorbell should also be included as pictured

Beware - button not included
The “About This Item” section clearly states, “ Included with the doorbell is a white, surface-mount push button made of weather resistant plastic.” It is NOT included. I will be returning it.

Good product with a big design flaw
The product itself is good, but the wire release clips on the mounting bracket are so flimsy and weak. Very easy to break. Need to go through the manufacturer to get a replacement part now.

Works with nest doorbell
The wiring diagram wasn’t very clear but I knew what I was doing. There was a choice to either upgrade the transformer under the house or add batteries—I choose batteries because it is easier. From what I can gather, it seems most older homes will need to do the same, save some time and go ahead and order 4pk of C batteries. Other than that, this bell works great—I like the flashing light when the doorbell is pressed.

Amazon is not shipping the model advertised.
Amazon lists this doorbell as model RDWL915A. They shipped to me, twice, even after chatting with customer service, model RDWL915W2000. The “W” model lacks the mp3 play option of the “A” model. Bummer. There seems to be confusion and availability problems at the big box sites also, so I just accepted the “W” model from Amazon. I installed this doorbell as battery powered with front and back wired push buttons. The LED in my existing push buttons provide enough current flow that it continuously triggers the bell, even though current is insufficient to light the LED. The instructions are not clear on this point. I pulled the LED out of both buttons which broke the diode circuit. Now it works great.

Easy to Install and Use
I converted a wired doorbell into a wireless doorbell by pairing this unit and the Honeywell wireless doorbell base unit. This allowed me to move the doorbell speaker to a part of the house where I can hear it better. Paired the doorbell with the base unit once, years ago, and they've worked great ever since. Setup was a breeze.

Some nice features, but flawed
I bought this because it worked either with RF (wireless) buttons, or with a wired button. Another important feature is the relay (or leapfrog, or hand-off) capability which allows one chime to pass the signal on to other chimes that are too far away from the button outside the house, thereby having several chimes go off throughout a large house. Both those features work, but crucially NOT TOGETHER! Before expending the effort to completely install, I tested the wired button feature by attaching wires to the connector and when I short them together (simulating a doorbell button press) it goes off just fine. I then checked it with a wireless button from a different Honeywell unit. ** KEEP IN MIND that NO BUTTON is supplied with THIS UNIT. ** Both chimes work fine when the wireless button is pressed, even when the button is about 30-40 feet from either of them. What I call the relay feature was tested by removing a battery from the nearby unit, and verifying that the other chime was too far away to be triggered by the RF button, then replacing the battery in the closer unit and having both sound off when the button is pressed. I swapped the near and far units, repeated, and all works just fine. ** BUT ** I returned the unit because the relay feature ONLY WORKS WHEN TRIGGERED BY an RF BUTTON. Setting off this unit via it's wired button feature will not activate any other chime. Sorry, Honeywell. FATAL FLAW. I want to put a wired button at my front door for both aesthetics, and not wanting to bother with battery problems in sub-zero Chicago winters. I want other chimes in further locations of the house to also go off once the nearby, wired, chime is activated. So close, but no cigar. Back it goes...

Was to simple install and program. It does not include the pushbuttons. You will have to purchase those separately.

No battery required if you can hook it up to a USB power port. Doorbell chime is loud but volume is adjustable. The instant mute button is a blessing when there is a persistent sales person/housing agent at the door pushing insistently on the button.

Works really well! We like the fact that we didn’t have to hang it on the wall! We have it sitting on top of out cupboards!
