is the pendant 925 sterling?

They offer both sterling and silver. However, I ordered sterling and my jeweler said it was stainless (hard to tell apart). So, yes, the custom name, supposedly, is also sterling but I would make sure the 925 is legible stamped on the necklace and name itself, or you may find yourself, like me, charged for sterling and getting stainless.

Can I shower with it on?

Hi dear! Of course you can. But we don't recommend wearing it while bathing or swimming.
