Fit perfectly on my 1961 Massey Ferguson diesel deluxe.

Mediocre quality

These are smaller than the original rubber boots on my MF165, so much so that I thought I ordered the wrong thing. Installation will require a touch of lubricant, pblaster or wd-40. A human sacrifice, or at least 3 sacrificial fingers of your least favorite child or other relative, and a fluent working of a large vocabulary of a four letter word dialect. After using a rod to work the rubber over the spring in the same manner as you would mounting a tire, I applied enough lubricant to the shaft lip to slide it easily into place on the gear shift, and then with almost know room wor work with simply had to use my fingers to roll the rubber around the metal casing upright until it all fit. The fit is tight, and will deffinitely keep the water out, but you will be sore after you get it installed!

The saying I guess you get what you paid for is on this product. We Oder these needing them real bad but limited on funds to get the more expensive ones. We put one on correctly (my husband is a mechanic and he knows how to) as soon as he put it on and shifted gear one time and it busted as shown in photos.So he tried the second one and he shifted two times and it done the same thing. I may add he put them in oil but that didn’t help with this product He noticed they was awful dry rotted he needed them that day or I would of sent them back for defective product but my husband thought they may of worked where he soaked them in oil yo help them I guess we was wrong I recommend paying 10 or 15 bucks more than to order this product definitely

Tight fit on my Massey Ferguson 245 shifters but they work great. Good quality boots
