Nice game
Very nice game for family time together. Its good option for kids around ten but difficulty level is not for younger kids because there are many things to remember. Cards are really good quality and good size.

Love
The instructions for this game were a bit complicated and I was frustrated trying to figure it out while my 6 year old wouldn’t stop asking me if we could play. Start with the card game booklet not the comic when reading directions. Once we understood the rules and the different cards it was very very fun. We love all our Katie O’Neill books so this was a must buy. We bought it for Xmas and have already played 3 times. I’m writing this review because we are playing again. Tips : to get your cards sorted:Separate all the tea dragon cards into their starter decks (ex all jasmine dragon cards say jasmine on the bottom ) then pick your dragon deck. There is one mentor card(a card that gets passed from player to player)Memory cards are represented by seasons. Green is spring, yellow is summer, orange is autumn and blue is winter. Separate them into piles. All the rest of the cards are market cards, put those in a pile.Have fun!

A splendid match for the book of the same name
With lovely artwork that mirrors the equally lovely book it's based on by the same author, this game puts 2-4 players in the personas of custodians of tea dragons, responsible for raising them through four seasons. Players grow their tea-dragons and purchase cards for victory points (summed up at the end of the game to determine the winner), prevent setbacks, or increase their tea dragons' growth. There is no inter-player conflict. The game is listed as 10+, though I believe precocious 8-year-olds can pick up the nuances of the game easily enough. The game mechanic itself is quite simple: draw a card form the player's deck or buy a card from the "market" or "memories" open to all players. When all four seasons have elapsed, the game is over and the winner determined based on victory points. To simplify learning, the game comes with both an explanation of the rules and a small comic (using the characters from the book, of course!) demonstrating play.I can't recommend this fun game enough. It plays quickly once you've played a season or two picking it up and is varied enough to provide variety from game to game, even for the adults lucky enough to be invited to play.

Adorable and Fun
I watched and read other reviews before buying, so I went in with the expectation that this game was cute, but didn't have the greatest play through. We've played with 2 and 4 players, and both games went smoothly. The mechanics were fairly simple, which made it a fantastic choice for a first deck builder for us to learn. The game was straight forward and we had a blast playing both times. It was great to bring with us on trips to visit family; it's small so its portability is top notch. I was on the fence about buying the base game, but after playing Autumn Harvest, I will likely also be purchasing the original as well.
