Porsche Drive: 15 Pässe in 4 Tagen – 15 Passes in 4 Days

Ready to start driving now.. 49 years ago we drove most of these passes. Seeing what they look like via the magnificent photos from a helicopter scared me but made me want to drive them again, this time enjoying the curves and the view in a more civilized manner. First time you just drive, second time I hope to enjoy the drive much more.PS we still have the Porsche 1968L that we purchased in Germany. We drove all of those passes with a 6-24 mo old sleeping on the rear seats in a box. No seat belts then :( and very high speeds too. She is now a Pediatrician. LOL

I gave this as a birthday gift to a good friend who absolutely loved the book. Now my boyfriend wants one, too :-) I'm going to give it to him for Christmas. The book is absolutely beautiful and if you like traveling beautiful, windy roads in fast sports cars, you'll love reading this book.

This is an excellent book. We like to travel and drive in this region, and it is usually very difficult to choose and weigh the numerous options out there. This was a great resource for planning our next trip, and the history of the various passes is a welcome addition.

I did some of these roads with a friend in a Cobra summer 2015, and did not realise there were so many more passes! Great content, very nice coffee table book, if a second edition is printed, please do it on gloss paper stock.

Some of these passes boggle the mind, and I am looking forward to using this book on a planned Alpine trip in 2018, when I will "recreate" my earliest drive on the Stelvio Pass shortly after getting my driving license. My Mother and Father were mighty happy when we reached the top without error, at which point Dad took over much to Mum's relief.

Beautiful photos. If you are planning on a driving tour to some of these Alpine passes, it will give you a good idea of what you can look forward to.

The quality and finish is utterly amazing! I would buy this for everybody I know if I wasn't so cheap...
