Love Letters Of Great Men - Vol. 1 Paperback – January 31, 2010

I bought this after watching a few decades of Sex and the City followed by the first movie. This book has many poems that are a huge part of two main characters’ story line. This book doesn’t disappoint. You get short biographies on each author for context. People no longer take the time to express their feelings and love this way. It is now short texts and even shorter phone calls. Very meaningful and wonderful book.

Great read. Love how it was written, very smooth to follow through with. I love that it tells you who they are and their love interests and accomplishments in life after the love letter is done.

Enjoyed reading it and looking into purchasing the next book written.

This really doesn't need a full introduction. It's a compilation of famous men and their love letters between great loves of their lives. It's truly inspiring to read the depth of these men's hearts as they pour so much heartfelt emotion into expressing their undying love to their chosen person. It's sweet, sometimes sad, but well worth the read.

This is a great book for anyone who is fond of legends of the 16th - 18th century.This book gives insight into the lives of these legends, in the most personal, privet, & emotional way.If you know their work be it music, inventions, political historic foot prints, ect., know you'll get to read & learn of their spirt & soul.

I ordered the paperback and I love it!! I enjoyed reading it as much as I love it for decor.

Love it!! Fun little book with nice letters of love. Each to their own, beautiful in it’s own way. I must say the French do have a way with words, but it’s assuming to see a variety of levels of passion and word choice from such famous men!

Some of the selections aren’t very good but others more than make up for them. Lyrical letters from times long past pouring love onto the pages.Great gift for the romantic.
