Heck, I have even tried mounting my smartphone to a vent once - it didn’t go very well. With the Anypro Cigarette Mount and Charger, not only can I have my smartphone mounted, but there are three USB ports that are capable of charging my Smartphone and my tablet at the same time.The flexible goose neck is strong enough to keep my smartphone where I need it while still being flexible enough to maneuver my device into the perfect position. The only problem I have had has been that my cigarette lighter port is cheap and can't bear the weight of my iPhone 6 Plus and the mount.With a bit of tweaking and moving the flexible arm into the perfect position, it has been working just great. It holds my smartphone in place and keeps me hands-free while I drive.

The item is built very well and feels sturdy before you plug it in the socket. Once its plugged in, there is where it fails. It is not sturdy at all it bounces and shakes very very easily. Thought it might break the socket plug being so easily shaken around so I removed it. At first I thought maybe it was just the socket on that particular car it was plugged into. Not the case, I put it in a 2005 Tribute, 2000 Silverado, 2016 Renegade, and even a boat I have with a socket. All the same! In the Tribute it was pulling the socket out of the care when it was being removed. All in all its junk if you want something at least slightly stable go with something else.

I tried two other car mounts and was very disappointed. This one IS PERFECT! I love it. Unlike others in this price range it is quality construction in every way. I have two cars and each has the cigarette lighter in a different place. This mount will easily adapt, It holds my Galaxy S5 perfectly and does so firmly. The phone does not move as the day goes on during a long drive. It is easily removed and kept in a bag when traveling. I use it in rental cars on trips, and that has been a big plus. I like that the charger has three inputs so I can easily charge other items at the same time, and so I can include passengers who need to keep their phone charging. I highly recommend this and plan to buy a second one.

As someone who can't stand to use a phone/gps mount that fixes to my dashboard or windshield, this doohikey has been awesome. Now I can perfectly see my phone's GPS without holding my phone against my steering wheel all ghetto-like!My only complaint: At first it kept tipping over under the weight of my iphone 6, but once I changed the rubber gasket/washer to the larger size (which they included), this stops happening and it works just fine.

Very high quality device. They've thought over everything. There are 3 USB charging ports on the plug. The 'neck' is flexible but very firm. The stiffness helps keep your device from wobbling everywhere when your vehicle is moving. There's an enormous range in the top piece that slides up or down to accommodate different sized phones. I can't imagine a phone that wouldn't fit in this mount. This is just a very well designed and constructed piece of equipment. If you're willing to pay a few bucks extra for the best, this is it.

This device did exactly what I needed it to. My car has a charge port in the optimal position to use this mount and I don't have to have any suction mount on my window obstructing my field of vision.It's stable and doesn't lose form when you hit a bump.One thing that isn't mentioned in the description but you may be able to tell by the picture is that the middle usb has a blue light inside of it which is a useful feature in my opinion.My only critique would be the color: The picture looks like there may be a grey version which would have matched my car interior a lot better but its just a black and white picture for some reason.It seems that the only color the device is produced in is green which is strange, but apart from that, perfect.

Great concept, but doesn't work in my vehicle, Toyota Tacoma 2012. The weight of the phone (iPhone 5) causes the device to tilt away from the lighter plug outlet and disconnect. And stay disconnected, unless you constantly hold the base of the device up. The additional, various size rubber spacers are of no use in resolving the problem either. I'll be returning this poorly designed piece of junk for a refund (hopefully)

The car mount charger stayed in place the first couple of weeks, but after that, the socket plug connection appears to not be as tight as when first inserted which makes the car mount turn to the left or right depending on which direction your car is turning. As long as I'm driving straight, however, the car mount stays in place.
