I activated it in warm water/milk with a little sugar and saw liquid becoming frothy. However, it can also be added directly to the dry ingredients.I have tried bread, buns, kulchas and naan. Not instant yeast
This is not instant yeast. Instant yeast can be directly added to bread mix without proofing. I tried it with this yeast and the bread didn’t rise at all. This is old fashioned dry active yeast which requires proofing before mixing dry ingredients. It’s a shame that bake king is mis-labeling cheaper dry active yeast as instant yeast.

I got a dud yeast, since I got thisproduct every try is a dud, the yeast is dead so the dough doesn't rise, got a product that does not work
