Hydration+Collagen Packets

I have tried a couple of these and find this is the better one, which is interesting as they all seem to have low collagen... when the daily recommended dose is 20 grams, you would have to drink the entire box... and then add some.If you are only looking for good taste and "some" benefit, this is a great product. If you want the daily dose, you can use this product to flavor a drink with a non-flavored collagen

The light flavor is refreshing and easy to drink. Tbankfully not the (dreadful) oversweetened and too high in sodium alternatives. This product is perfect for my dietary needs. Highly recommended.

Ok, so, these do NOT taste like a regular sports drink. If you are expecting a tasty sports-ade drink, you will be very disappointed.I use these post-workout. I mix with 6-8 oz of room-temp water & stir very well. (If you have one of those little milk-foamer electric stick stirrers, it works great.) Then I add a couple of ice cubes and sip it.If you think about it in terms of a balanced cocktail, it has a similar flavor profile- equal parts bitter, salty, sour, and sweet. If you have that in mind, you can kind of appreciate the flavor on its own terms.That said, I’ve had more success with this at home than I have on the go. If you’re out in the heat and you dump this in your water bottle, you’re probably going to be disappointed. The orange flavor (with caffeine) is a better & tastier option when you are out and about.

Mom gave me a couple of her berry flavored packets to try out.It was like Crystal Light, like that sugary substitute flavor mixed with powdered aspirin x10. Not good.Then I read some reviews saying this one was like a tart lemonade. Some said kinda bitter. I thought "I like my lemonade a bit tart"NO. JUST NO.Taste nothing like lemon. Or lemonade. More like alkaseltzer mixed with melted aspirin & sugar substitute flavor.It was awful. I even tried to mix into a smaller amount of water to take like a shot. Nope.There's no way around it. You can't avoid the bitter nasty chalky taste.I take BC Powder regularly and don't mind the taste at all. I kinda like it. So not to be able to tolerate the taste says a lot.Should've listened to reviews.Should've returned these. YUK.

i gave this item 2 tries hoping that maybe my taste was just off. first sip is fine but then the after taste is like cleaning products. it mixes and dissolves well but the after taste and the smell it leaves in shakers is just not for me. i love other collagen products by them that i mix in coffee but unfortunately this one just doesn't compete

This product helps with dehydration on hot summer days. I play tennis outdoors and it helps with my energy and focus. I recommend this product

I enjoy these. I have one first thing in the morning with a bunch of water. I like the flavor, it gives me a boost of electrolytes and a little bit of protein.

I had high expectations for this hydration powder. I love so many of the other Vital Proteins collagen products and felt this would be a winner. The powder did not completely dissolve, it needed to be stirred constantly to avoid getting a sip of the powder as you drank it. The flavor was lemon-lime but it tasted more artificial than other varieties or brands that I have had. I do feel that it hydrated the same as other brands.If you are looking for a collagen powder on the go and one that adds more hydration, this could be for you if you do not care about grit or flavor.
