I work on trains. Part of our inspection procedure & repairs requires us to check air brake and air spring pressures ranging from as low as 6psi up to 160psi. We have a shop regulated master air gauge that is calibrated yearly for accuracy and I checked this gauge right out of the box and it was spot on accurate. I've been using it for a week now and it's awesome being able to quickly read my pressures.The ONLY downside I see is that it seems you cannot calibrate it. I will check it weekly to ensure it maintains it cal. Another minor gripe is that backlight turns off after X. amount of time, and pressing a button doesnt turn it back on.However, a cool feature I noticed for someone using this as a tire gauge, it has a tiny LED light on the rear of the gauge to illuminate your tires valve stem at night.

I bought this specifically to test my air lift ride shocks due to a leak I was having. I needed a way to see a more accurate reading than the gauge I was using as part of that kit and I liked that this had accuracy to a decimal place. I was able to verify that a leak was happening since I could see the slow leak happening as decimal points ticked down over minutes rather than waiting an hour to see a whole number change with my other gauge.Easy to read and accurate. Recommended.

The accuracy seems pretty good based on checking it against two other gauges I have so that’s a plus, although I’d prefer if the backlight was either controlled by a button or just stayed in constantly until you power the gauge down.The true pressure is a little slow to stabilize but the 1/10 psi graduations make it worth the wait.

Good replacement gauge

I had purchased a tire inflating device with digital gauge from Tractor Supply. It drained batteries readily. I discovered the gauge was erratic. I tossed it it into a drawer and forgot it. Then one day I decided I had a real use for that device. I found this replacement gauge for half the price of a new complete inflation unit. This new gauge arrived on time. It was a simple task of unscrewing the old gauge and replacing it with this new one. It is now usable and again part of my useful tools.
