I bought this to supplement my car's factory TPMS, and I like it!
I bought this to supplement my SUV's factory TPMS, and I like it!I got the 6-sensor model because I wanted to be able to measure the pressure in not only the SUV's regular tires, but also two spares (one in the trunk, and another that I keep in the garage). It has enough range that when I park my car outside the garage, it still measures the pressure of the spare tire that's inside the garage. When I drive off, it continues showing the pressure of the spare tire in the garage until I've driven quite a while, maybe an hour's drive away from home, which seems funny because obviously it doesn't have a 50 mile range, but apparently it's just reporting the last-known-pressure of the spare in the garage (until I drive for about an hour, then it finally stops showing the last-known-pressure of the tire in the garage).ADVANTAGES: Unlike my factory TPMS or some other TPMS systems, this one starts showing the pressure almost immediately (within seconds) after you install its special valve caps on the tires -- there's no need to drive for a while before it starts showing the pressure! This is a big advantage, and it means you can even use it while inflating your tires to make sure you've inflated them to the proper pressure. You just have to remember that until you start driving, this TPMS will be showing the "cold tire pressure", which (depending on the temperature) may be several psi below the "hot tire pressure" after driving.DISADVANTAGE: The only drawback I've found so far is that although this system is supposedly able to monitor ten (10) tires (in case you buy a trailer with four wheels plus two spare tires plus the four wheels of your car, truck, or SUV), I've looked and looked online, even at the manufacturer's website, and I can't find anyplace that sells spare sensors for the extra wheels! If nobody sells spare sensors for this system, then if you buy a trailer with four wheels, you'll have to buy a whole new TPMS to monitor the four wheels of the trailer plus the four wheels of your car or truck! Or you'd have to use it only for monitoring your trailer and spares, and use your factory TPMS to monitor your car or truck's tires.

Simple setup and operation
Brilliant design, it stays put on our dash and stays charged. It automatically shows the trailer when it's in range, and goes back to just showing the truck at other times. It goes to sleep and wakes up based on motion, so you really don't need to touch it. It even came pre programmed with the sensors labeled for each tire.We did end up adding the repeater to our 30' long toy hauler.4 stars because it can be a little hard to read in daytime.

Tire pressure monitor
I use this for my checking my tires in the camper and keeping an eye on the tire pressure while driving. I bought this because I had a slow tire leak on the camper while I was driving it. Anyone who has a camper should have this item to protect them when a tire pressure is bad and can prevent.

BEWARE those who need a repeater!
UPDATE August 2022 - After only 7 months, the main unit died 1 hour into a 14 hour hazmat haul, leaving me with no tire monitoring on most of the dangerous trip. The display is permanently on and completely non-functional. It will not turn off or respond to any inputs, and does not update any of the readings. This thing is now in the garbage where it belongs.----------UPDATE: I am reducing this from 3 stars to 1 star. The seller of this product has been spamming me from random automated Chinese accounts for weeks, trying to offer me money to remove my review. My original review below is legit, but the seller should be avoided unless you like being harassed.-----------This TPMS is a mixture of really good and really bad. First the really bad:Be very cautious if using the repeater! If the repeater breaks, loses power, or stops working for any reason then the main unit in the cab will NOT alarm over lost signal from the wheels! It will just keep displaying the last received numbers forever, and the driver will have no indication that they have lost all contact from the wheel sensors. This is a huge oversight in the programming and design and should make every buyer who needs a repeater in their setup pause before deciding to buy this product. Also on the bad side - the unit assumes that the first 4 four sensors are being used on the tow vehicle, so that is where it displays the data on the unit screen. Not a huge problem except for the screen real estate is twice as big as necessary and half of the space is completely wasted. I would have rather had the remaining 4 of the total 8 slots showing me constant temperature readings instead of being blank. Now for some good:The screen is bright enough to see it clearly in bright sun WHILE wearing sunglasses. Very good here. It also dims suitably at night so that it is not a distraction at all while driving in the dark. Good work here on the screen brightness.
