Q: does the drawer have to be put on or is it optional?

Yes it is. I took it off. It’s actually 2 brackets with a fabric/cardboard drawer.

Q: e-1 res error everytime pressing the up button why?

What you actually do is hold the “down” button. Once it reaches the lowest point it’ll make some clicking noises, but keep holding that down arrow for around 5 seconds until the display changes. It will show a number like 72, indicating the lowest height setting. I don’t know what unit that 72 is in but anyway once you see that you can increase the height normally again. You’ll probably have to repeat this process any time the desk loses power so you’ll want to plug it into a UPS if possible.

Q: I see mixed answers on whether this comes with or without the drawer. Anyone have confirmation?

Yes. This FEZIBO desk does come with a drawer however it is made from cardboard and covered in material. The metal that holds the drawer is also a little on the flimsy side so the drawer cannot hold much weight. It is great for holding pens, calculators, paper, etc. but not much more. Don't let this drawer deter you because this desk is great.

Q: How do i fix an e-2 error? i keep getting an e-2 error when i try to adjust the height of the desk at all.

Try holding the up and down arrows.
