works well, adapted to hold a small notebook
This company is really making an effort to fill a niche. I adapted this to be a notepad-holder. It still holds 1-2 beverage containers, too. The in-hole expander is 3-way, which even though my cup-holder hole (Honda CR-V) is not perfectly round, this does stay in pretty securely; I realign and tighten it about once a week, no problem. The top tray goes onto the unit only in one direction (I was hoping to flip it to use the flat surface), so it has a lip on the top-side about a half-inch high. So I cut into an insulite pad to the shape to compensate for the lip, and then clipped a small notepad onto it. This way, I can write — while keeping my eyes on the road — on paper that's staying put (not balanced on my thigh, not so safe). I can still reach things on the console underneath the tray, and I can rotate the tray with just enough friction to stay put or move. My hydroflasks will stay mostly upright in the large/lower cup holder without tipping, and I've used the that hole for holding a mason-jar size glass or small vase of flowers enroute to spread some cheer. The upper holder is really only useful for an angled-small-base cup, like the shape of a regular to-go cup. It works for my needs, thank you!

Can hinder access to shift knob
I really like this item. It works well and is very convenient for people (like me) who take lots of road trips. The only two little problems are:1 - Installation includes putting it in an existing cup holder and rotating a knob to expand the base so it fits snugly in the existing cup holder. Well, it sometimes loosens itself and needs retightening.2 - If there are two people in the front seats of the car, this item would be rotated to the center which puts the tray directly over the shift knob. It’s not a big deal (unless you drive a manual) because a driver only shifts an automatic transmission when stopping or beginning a drive - but I thought I should mention it.Overall it is an awesome product that I am glad I purchased. A friend once told me the best recommendation for a product is to tell others whether you would buy it again in the future. I definitely would.

Perfect gift for new drivers!
I love this cup holder for the tray. It's so sturdy, and keeps everything higher up so I can reach over and grab things while I drive. I usually have my face mask on it (it's a clean place to hold it), any snacks, water, lip balm (my lips get dry a lot 😂), and any letters I need to mail. Also, I have to frequently plug and unplug my phone when the connection dies out for Google maps, and with my phone on the tray, it's a lot more convenient and safer to do that bc of the positioning of the phone.I liked it so much that I bought 4 more for the hs girls who drove my daughter to crew practice as a thank you. They all loved it, and it's a perfect gift for a new driver.

Did not fit my cup holder
I put this in my work van. I'm a delivery driver so i needed something like this to have my snacks right there for easy access when I'm driving on the highway. Maybe it's just my van, but this did not fit in the cup holder at all. It wiggled all over the place and kept falling over. I like the size of this tray and this is useful for me and i refused to return it. So i improvised. I used a towel and wrapped the leg at the bottom and shoved it into the cup holder. Voila! It's tight, wiggles only a little bit. I dunno how other people are able to put drinks in it, but i can't. I put snacks in the cup part cause it's too big for my drinks. Then there's another open area to put another drink in as well. Think gravity. I slide a drink in there and it just tips over. So i pretty much don't even use the open round part.

WOW!! This is Great
I don't usually leave reviews but this product deservers five stars plus. For road trips this is the best item of this type I have ever purchased. Holds tight in cup holder. Allows for use of larger drink containers. The "table" is sturdy and with the swivel feature can be place in the idea position for use. Holds snacks, cell phone, glasses or other small items wanted readily available. The ledge on the edge of the table keeps items from sliding off.. Fits my Nissan Rouge perfectly without interfering with the other cup holder or other items (gear shift, storage trays, power ports or center console) in the area. I highly recommend this item it wont disappoint..

Not very secure
Used it one for a road trip. The idea is there but it keeps coming loose. Can't put anything heavier than sunglasses on it without it leaning.

I Think I Like It
I easily adjusted the 2Cups to fit snugly in my center console cup holder (my cup holder is at the very rear of the center console). Then I set the tray to 'point' to the rear of my car. I now have 1 large cup holder and 1 'regular' size cup holder available to me, in addition I can place my phone, sunglasses, garage door opener and small flashlight in the tray; very close and accessible. The raised edges of the tray keep things from rolling off. I'd recommend. The only caution is I don't believe the tray is meant for heavy items; but it's fine for several light items as I described.

May be okay for you.
It doesn’t have a lot of support as far as weight in holding with the tray. I tried to put my Nook book on there and it made the whole thing unsteady in almost pull out of the cup support. However if I turn the tray a little bit and just let it lean on the center consul it was the perfect height and it worked really well. For that reason I decided to keep it. I liked everything about it but I wish they would’ve had a little bit more tightness to it when you screwed it into the cupholder. I would recommend getting it if you’re looking for an extra cup holder and a tray for things to have handy like your cell phone right next to you.
