Ultralight but ears to read exact temp
Great to clip on a backpack for hiking. It’s accurate to at least within 2*. It’s just hard to let because print is very tiny.

Cute
forever wanted a thermometer for a backpack or jacket.A novelty purchase to be sure, however, I might order a few more depending on how sturdy it is for travel

A little hard for a 47 year old to read, but super light and it has the temperature
I got this for backpacking trips so I would have a rough idea of the real temperature. It is very light weight. On my home scale, it weighs 0.15 oz or about 4 grams. The complaint for this thermometer is that it is so small that it is difficult for me to read without glasses. Even with reading glasses on, I can't get readings that are very precise. I can definitely get ballpark readings. That should be adequate for me to tell if the temp is near freezing so I can tend to the necessary camp and gear considerations when the temperature dips below freezing, but I do wish they dropped the Celsius side and made the Fahrenheit side larger.I guess it does what I need it to do, and for the price and weight, I will stick with it for a while. We'll see how well it performs over time.

Defective!! Period! :(
As others have said, the product is defective with the printing for 0deg C lining up with approx 25deg F. Hence it always reads 7 deg low when using the F scale. And there’s no returns to boot. For such a simple product, and one that takes pride for being “final assembled” in the US “we believe in small batch quality manufacturing,” you’d think it would be difficult to fail. Apparently the company lacks any quality control. Like c’mon, all you gotta do it stick it in an ice water bath to see if it reads correctly. Nope. I’ll be looking elsewhere next time! This ain’t the “original zip-o-gauge” company that I knew!

Got what I expected
I got this to hang on a zipper on my pack. it is small and easy to read and fits perfectly where I placed it. The little snowboard it is mounted to is just a cool benefit.

Does the job but is finicky
Really like that this can hook onto a zipper. When it's really cold, this thing is great to help you open something with gloves on. It seems very accurate - tech from 1920 usually is proven. Only problem is when it gets frosty and difficult to read, anywhere you touch the thing transmits heat to the thermometer and the accuracy is gone. Can't brush off the snow or even hold the aluminum base to twist it a little right and left to try to read it. That happened for me at about 10 degrees F when i had it hanging outside the tent. wanted to see how cold it was out there but never could get a good reading. Overall a solid thing to have along.

Not very accurate.
Not very accurate compared to other thermometers. Mine was about 10 degrees off.

This item is just as expected
I ordered this after checking reviews and was concerned that it might be too small to see. It is small. I would say less than 2 in but I am able to read it easily with a well visible temp reading.
