I bought this to replace the plastic handle on my recliner and honestly, I’m really pleased with it. The metal finish adds a much more premium feel, and it looks great too — a definite upgrade from the original.It fit perfectly with no issues, and installation was super straightforward. Took me just a few minutes with basic tools. The handle has a nice weight to it and feels solid and smooth when pulling.If you’re after something durable that won’t break after a few uses like the plastic ones often do, this is definitely worth it. Really happy with the quality for the price.

Well make better than the original stronger fitted good this is the second one I bought good delivery

The fitting hole needs to be bigger than it's previous version.overall dimensions are the same, but the internal side of the handle is bigger than the one I previously had. So I had to make the hole about 5mm bigger up and side to make it fit

Bought this to replace one that had broken on a two seater recliner. The original one was made from plastic and snapped where the cable connects to it and therefore the weakest point. This one is metal and although you have to make slight adjustments to it ( file it a small amount to let cable seat properly) it is far more robust than the original item and fits perfectly in terms of size and shape. I would have no hesitation in recommending this item and at the price it is a no brainer , just leaving the question “ why didn’t the sofa manufacturer use metal in the first place? “

I purchased this aluminium as a replacement for the original plastic handle that broke where the outer cable was retained. I assume it was fatigue on the plastic. Yes I think the aluminium replacement will be stronger and the dimensions are exactly as the original but it has not been a direct replacement. The slot/hole where the outer cable should fit was too narrow/small to insert and retain it correctly.I have had to file the slot and hole to fit the cable. It does seem a well made replacement but because of the additional work I can only give it 3*.
