Check the long hose side of the bulb !
It was good and works great ! The hose on one side of the bulb is longer than the other, which is normal! Make sure before you buy you check the long side is on the side you need ! ( if it matters ) because mine had to be fed thru a very small opening in the boat it was backward ( my fault for not checking ) However after a little work I switched them and it works great !

Finally
After three fails, I finally get a good product. I was having fuel starvation issues. I purchased three other fuel hoses that would correct the problem for a few weeks and then the issue would return. I saw some of the other reviewers recommend this product and decided to try it. What a difference! It seems stupid because it's just some hose and a ball with a check valve, but I could immediately feel the difference when I pumped the valve. It cured the hard starts I was having, lag in throttle response and the feeling of the boat lagging on plain. It's a little expensive, but if it lasts, I say it's worth it.
