Quality product
An authentic tasting and convenient alternative to mix in your own. The quality of the ingredients is evident and it presents well for me, the gin was a little stronger so find it suits a splash of soda for balance, but that’s his personal preference. For the price I paid I think it offered really good value and as such for several bottles with winter approaching, it’s a lovely drink to sip while sitting in front of the fire on these cold dark evenings.

Lovely surprise
I'm quite picky with my cocktails (and I only really love three: negroni, manhattan and old fashioned). This one was quite a surprise: well balanced (not too sweet) and ready for the addition of some orange peel or (as I prefer) three drops of essential orange oil. Better than most random negroni you find in bars (at least in London)

Nice
Nothing like a properly mixed negroni but still a nice and much cheaper/easier alternative. Often on a deal I recommend trying it when it is.

A decent pre-mixed Negroni
I didn't have high expectations for this, but this is a pretty good representation of a Negroni. If you want Negronis and you want them NOW... but don't want to shell out for whole bottles of gin, Campari, vermouth, then I would consider this as a more accessible option. It doesn't beat making your own but it's not far off. Just remember the other essential components (rocks glass, orange slice, BIG ice cube).

The one and only premixed Negroni!
The ONLY premixed Negroni anyone should ever consider. Most comprise Aperol or other bitters as one of the three ingredients, but this one only uses genuine Campari, and the difference is immense! Square glass, three big ice cubes, a slice of fresh orange and then pour a decent glug of this Negroni through the orange, over the ice and into the glass. Swirl lazily a few times and enjoy. A timeless and gorgeous drink!

I think I’ve been a fan of a different Negroni all along …
… as if this is how real Negroni should taste, then I have obviously been duped, as to me this tastes nothing like Negroni that I know and love. Even when I am making one myself at home and mix the exact ingredients in the exact proportions, the taste is still different to what I tasted from this bottle. It’s sweet, it’s not either bitter enough or slightly pungent, it’s missing all attributes that made me fall in love with Negroni once and for all. The bottle is lovely enough for the display, but I still can’t justify the price by its looks or heritage only. There are many nice premixed Negronis out there, this one is definitely not one of those. Will stick with making my own.
