I like that they were on the thicker side and had the angle. They were perfect for my Fostex t60"s and t50'sI also used them for the Fostex Dekoni blues. Ì got better sound and a bit more bass. I was trying to get them to be kinda closer towards my t60 argons but maintaining their own individual sound and they did. These were the perfect pads for the price. Although I was hoping that they had them in suade or velour. I would love to try those too.

These pads are insanely good quality for the price. They sound amazing on both my T50RP's and my Monoprice Modern Retros. People often recommend the Brainwavz XL pads for the Monoprices but I highly recommend these over those pads. Adding some distance between your ears and the driver increases instrument separation and these pads have just as much, if not more, bass. Also, do yourself a favor and mod your Modern Retros like you would T50RP, throw some clay and foam in the enclosure. It gets rid of some of muddiness and brings the mids way forward. The Modern Retros modded this way and with these pads are 90% as good as the T50's. If they're a bit too bright for you after this, do the TP mod.

Well made, all leather and extra thick. Fits nicely on Fostex T50RP and Beyerdynamic DT-770, and does not change the sound all that much compared to stock pads.

Was definitely a comfortability upgrade to the stock pads that came on my Emu Teak

Comfy, sounds great, and works great with T50RP mods. What's not to love?

Thought I was going to have buy new $500 cans. Bought these instead. Well worth the $$. Saved me hundreds.

Got these puppies for my t20rp's and oman these are a huge upgrade from those pancake pads from before. These hug your ears and seal in the sound well enough!
