Performance Plus Carts AMD Series Wound Speed Motor for EZGO Golf Cart | 36V Performance Motor | Compatible with 1988-1994 Marathon & 1994.5-2009 TXT Models with Series Electrical System

I have had this motor in my 93 Marathon for 9 months. My cart went from 13 mph with 2 adults riding to 20 mph. It will do 22 with just me in it on 36 volts. Installation was easy. just cut the power, remove the electric lines, unbolt the old motor and drop in the new one. Note, be careful removing and installing the power lines on the motor. A wrench must be placed on the nut below where the power line connects before loosening the nut above it or the stud could rotate and break the wire connected to the brushes inside the motor). My wife helped me remove it with a rope and 2x4. It is heavy. Motor lines up with the existing rear end perfectly. I also replaced the lines and solenoid. I purposely waited to write this review so I could test it out throughly and it works.

Letting the batteries charge all the way before I really have a better opinion. As for now it moves! I hope to see an increase in performance especially when the whole family is on it.

I installed it and doesn't operate. It seems to get power, but barely moves the golf cart ,like not moving

Seemingly expensive investment, but outstanding performance difference. road worthy tires and this motor make a great combination.
