Mother Earth Products Freeze Dried Corn, Super Sweet, 5 Oz

I bought this Mother Earth freeze dried corn via Subscribe and Save after searching for non GMO corn options. A while back, we tried this, Natierra Nature's All Foods Freeze Dried Foods, Sweet Corn, 2.3 Ounce and went through it super fast as it was very tasty. Unfortunately, for the amount you get, it's not cheap. Comparatively, this Mother Earth corn is a much better value (at it's current price). I tossed some into my spiralized zucchini dish yesterday (sauteed) and it came out tasting as fresh and wonderful as the real deal. I didn't add any water to attempt what the product description refers to for rehydrating either. My husband was surprised when I told him it was freeze dried. I've placed it towards the back of our pantry because I have a feeling when he tries it, it'll become a snack that'll be gone before we know it, haha. Super yummy eaten plain, with a light, crunchy, and sweet (but not too sweet) flavor. I think it would be good mixed in with trail mix but won't likely do it for the reason listed above. Smile. I got this to add a little something to my ramen, and this is perfect! I throw a handful in the water along with the noodles and they rehydrate perfectly. Tastes delicious and very easy to have on hand for random ramen cravings. The freeze dried corn is also fun to snack on; it really does taste good.

I put these in lettuce salads with various vegetables, spices, dressings etc and eat it in real thin pita pockets. You can taste the corn and it really adds depth of flavor. I have also added them to soups and ramens before. Very handy and very tasty!

Good quality and taste

I saw a Cooking Channel program that had these in a recipe and I decided to see if I could find them. Of course I did on Amazon Amazon and they are absolutely to die for they are so unique and so interesting and a wonderful addition to any salad or dish that you may have you be surprised how good they are

This is really good. Bought to use in a recipe but it makes a really delicious snack straight from the contaainer.

Great texture but promised sweetness is lacking a bit. The corn tastes ok in a salad, but it's lacking freeze dried corn's concentrated flavor and sweetness. May try a different brand but this was serviceable.

Love adding this to a chopped green salad. Provides a nice crunch. A little expensive, but I'm worth it!
