VC 18 Inch Vintage Handmade Leather Messenger Bag Laptop Briefcase Computer Satchel Bag for Men

I bought this after reading all the reviews and honestly expected it to smell like fish or something else extremely malodorous, but it didn't. Right out of the bag, it smells like leather. Maybe I got lucky!As someone else mentioned, the bag is much, much, much lighter in person than the picture. So I put a pretty heavy coating of Lexol Leather conditioner last night and wiped it off after about an hour. Then I put another liberal coat of Obenauf's Heavy Duty Leather Conditioner on today and it has darkened considerably. It's still not as dark as the picture, but time and probably some more leather conditioner will help move it down the line. Oddly, the strap looks already darkened so I don't know what accounts for the difference.The bag is large and has a number of smaller exterior flap pockets on the outside (both sides and front) which give it a very vintage look. There is a single zippered compartment inside and another large zippered compartment on the outside. All the buckles and swivel hooks are heavy brass.You really can't go wrong for the price, it's the bargain of the century.

I absolutely love this laptop bag. I use it daily at work. At first it does have an awful smell, but I let it set outside in the shade all day and the smell seemed to go away. There are quite a few pockets on the outside and inside of the bag. It is very well made and very durable. I get a lot of compliments on this bag at work. This was a great choice when looking for a new laptop bag.

Fits my big ol' gaming laptop which is why I got it. It does have a bit of an odd smell at first but that's due to the leather being treated, which is great. Plenty of space and looks fantastic, have gotten many comments on it already. Will update review if there are any durability issues but it appears to be well made. Could not be happier, particularly considering how affordable it was. Seller also included a note with care instructions and thanks, which I'm a sucker for.

Arrived a day early. Beautiful construction with no flaws. Have got several compliments on it from coworkers. Bought this to replace a backpack I have been using for traveling on business. Plenty of room for my laptop, notebooks and misc items with room to spare. If you are looking for a professional looking satchel…this is the one you want to get!

Don't. Just don't. The bag is glued together. I got glue on me while examining it. There is a putrid smell. The craftmanship, if you want to call it that, is poor. I doubt it'll last years. Not worth my money. I opened it and packed it back into its packaging for return within 15 mins. Ladies, don't buy this for your man unless you're looking for a breakup.

My son was so excited about this bag but seeing it in person was such a let down. It has a lot of dark spots on it and the clasps look like they are years old and have rust on them which stained areas of the bag where it touched. The bag is very sturdy and has a lot of room and looks like real leather. It's just all the black spots on it that make it very unattractive. We are just so disappointed. It would have been perfect otherwise.

NICELY MAD BUT OVERPOWERING RAW TANNING SMELL? MAY BE IDEAL FOR A MAN. ODOR MAY FADE MAKING IT A BETTER PERSONAL ITEM?

So I have had this a week so far, and I still smile when I look at it.Like other reviews mentioned, it needs to air out for a couple days or so after taking it out of the packaging. But after that I can't find anything I don't like about it.It looks cool. It actually fits my laptop inside (17.5"). A couple others I tried before I found this, claimed to be designed for 17 inch laptops, but I guess my old beast is taller than a typical 17.5" laptop? It kept poking out the top.This one however is true to the measurements it claims. It seems well padded on the sides and plenty of pocket space.
